It arrived at 3. Only just setting it up now and holiday tomorrow
I’m a kid in a candy shop!

First iPhone in 10 years I’ve got no clue how to use it. Took a while to get to used the “small” Pro but I appreciate it now

Really enjoying AOD btw

I’ll keep checking this thread tomorrow. Im too attached still 😂

Does anyone know if you can pick up a parcel from a DPD depot before they’ve attempted delivery? If I don’t get movement in the morning I might drive out to the depot if I can and pick it up myself. Don’t fancy waiting till Tuesday if the app is right.

doesn’t tracking let you choose collection from depot. I remember last year or so few people did pick up from depot

I don't believe so but I have had an option once to collect from depot, but call them if you can
 
Collecting my phone from Apple on Sunday. I'm on a pay monthly O2 sim-only contract.

How does the esim setup work if I decide to trade in my old phone to Apple? If I trade in my existing phone when I collect the new one from Apple, I won't have it and so won't be able to activate the esim and do the sim swamp that's needed.

Is this an issue? Everything I'd read said there was no physical sim slot on 14 Pro Max but now I'm guessing that's for the US model and the UK model still had a sim slot?

Finally got home from work and set up my Gold iPhone 14 Pro.

Love the DI, love the AOD and loving iOS 16.

Not sure about the gold colour, as its very pale on the back, and only really a nice gold around the rim of the phone, but as it's in an apple silicone case I suppose it doesn't matter too much.

I hope everyone else is enjoying their new phones and to all of you that are still waiting for your, the wait will be worth it I promise you.

In other news my AirPod Pro 2's have moved to preparing to ship :cool:

I noticed this as well but only on the space black version that I have. The silver version feels the same as my sierra blue 13 pro max. It must be the coating that they used. What colour is your phone?

My 14PM Deep Purple one feels different to 13PM Sierra Blue. The 13PM feels more metallic somehow, it's colder to the touch as you'd expect. While the 14PM doesn't have that completely metallic feel to it.

Is anyone else's iPhone 14 Pro less bright than an older device? Mine's also dimmer and I can't figure out why.
 
I don’t know what to do tomorrow.

Have a PM 512 in black reserved for pick up tomorrow on iUP.

Due to the debacle on launch day I have a Barclays finance one due 3-10th October.

Do I go to apple tomorrow and try finance again on iUP or just leave it and wait for shipping in a couple of weeks?

Prime to apple support today and they can’t transfer the finance to the pick up. They can only cancel one or the other.
 
Finally setting up my shiny new deep purple pro. I’d selected to pick it up at my local Morrisons due to work. But when it hit 8.30 with no info I gave up hope of getting it today. Then at 8.50 get the message that it’s ready to collect. One quick car journey later and finally got it in my hands.

Starting work at 7am but must have it all set up so i’ll be running on a lot of caffeine tomorrow. 😂

I ordered from John Lewis this morning, picked same day evening delivery, locked in today, no sign of it. The experience continues.
 
Waited whole day, while at work, checking DPD app every 2 minutes. Notification arrives, my package is ready to be picked up, I go there "no, the driver hasn't still delivered, come back later", I go 2 hours later "the driver delivered a lot of packages but yours is not here, maybe pass by tomorrow morning or Tuesday"....😭😭😭

I had this issue and called my card issuer who sorted it out for me. Apparently there were too many (old) devices against my card.
