I've just sent my iPhone 12 mini off. Just gave the bare phone (no box, no cable) to the driver. He had a cardboard folding envelope with a polystyrene foam pocket to put the phone into and then wrap up, seal and put into a plastic envelope with a pre-printed label. He had a checklist to go through on his handset (ask whether SIM had been removed and accounts removed, no cracks on front or back glass, etc).

He said the parcel should show up in the DPD app. In the details for the delivery of the packaging there is a second section which seems to be for the return part but so far it just says they haven't received the package yet.

One other thing to mention is that the earliest collection slot Rebuy offered me was tomorrow. I then got alerts this morning saying DPD were coming today. Cue rush to transfer old iPhone to new iPhone!

I'm less worried now about Tuesday, when my iPhone 13 Pro is being collected.
 
Well well well, evilbay has worked for me.

After the issues I had with MM kiosk this afternoon, thought I might as well put my iPhone 13 mini on eBay to see if there was any takers, put it on for £550, sold within an hour for £500, after fees it came out to £435. £105 more than MM. The guy paid straight away. Result!

I've had a few speed tests >1Gbps using Three.

This was on my iPhone 12

For anyone who opted for payment via PayPal with MM Smart Kiosk, how does this work? Do you link your bank account to your PayPal account and then transfer once the payments received into PayPal? Thanks.

I do slightly miss the screen of the 13 Pro Max after downgrading to the Pro this year but ergonomics and comfort wise, the Pro is so much better for me. Also the battery on the Pro, which was one of my fears about downgrading, has so far been great despite background indexing, playing music, watching videos etc.

I’m glad I made the switch to the Pro from Pro Max overall…you’ll be compromising either way but for me this is the best option (though it may not be for you!).

Thanks, the more I’ve played with it today it is handy and the size does fit my hands well. Time will tell and I’ll nip to Apple tomorrow to compare

Amazon order arrived - instantly turned off always on display. I’d probably get used to it, but it wasn’t really adding anything for me.

Biggest difference so far coming from an XS is the speaker quality. Not sold on dynamic island, I kinda wish it wouldn’t fill in the middle section when it’s just idle at the top. Looks particularly weird in certain lighting.

Also the cameras are insanely thick. Wouldn’t be able to rock this uncased.

Pro or Pro Max? Definitely think the Dynamic Island is less intrusive on the Max but it’s not too much of a distraction for me on the Pro.

sorry i know its out of topic, but what mail app are u using?
 
I am coming from a 12 pro to the 14 pro so do not know if it was also like this on the 13, but when i start the camera it seems to take a very long time until i get the camera image on screen to be able to take a photo.

Is this the same for others, but when out and about today and wanted to quickly capture something it felt painfully slow.
