I caved in.
Cancelled the Pro Max that I had on order from Apple, and got the regular pro from O2 instead. Thought it would be a real struggle going back to the regular size after having the Max variant since the XS Max, but I'm finding it surprisingly manageable.

To be fair mate a chip is a chip. I wouldn’t expect a decent price for mine with any size chip tbh.
So I thought I had completed the switch over to eSIM on my 13 Pro Max the other day but when I logged into the EE app today it said I still needed to activate it. So I followed the instructions and did that. For some reason I have data now but not the ability to call. Calls seem to fail. I’m not sure what I have done wrong. Also my cellular connection shows 4G only when I’m on a 5G plan.
Anyway I decided not to try and transfer the eSIM over to my 14 Pro. I think I’m just going to go to the EE store tomorrow and see if I can get a new physical SIM to use with my 14 Pro Max. I’ve decided the eSIM is too much of a headache. As I don’t have the need of two numbers and as I usually only take the physical sim out once a year when I get the new iPhone I think sticking with a physical SIM is better.

I used the kiosk today as well and got the BACS payment failed email. Contacted them by telephone and they said I should the receive the payment tonight. Would be great if that happens!
MM offering £55 so not a lot. May just do it though with my series 7 with £20 it’s about £305 for both. My air pods 2 arrive on Friday. Ultra on 26th
