I used the kiosk today as well and got the BACS payment failed email. Contacted them by telephone and they said I should the receive the payment tonight. Would be great if that happens!
Did you get your payment. I’ve just come from the kiosk and got a payment bounced message when I got home. The customer services lines aren’t open until Tuesday

Has anyone noticed EE now sell different 5G speed packs?

I noticed ‘Excellent’ and ‘the best’

We are on a 5G Sim Unlimited plan, and just wondering what we might be on
I’m on an older plan and happy to say that they’ve kept my speed unlimited (not that I need over 100mps anyway) .. the horrible increase in their prices has made me determined to keep my plan forever!!

I signed up to the 100mbps EE essential plan with 125gb data a couple of weeks ago and can’t say I’ve had any speed issues at all, it’s plenty fast enough for my needs. I’ve found the signal and 5G prevalence to be streets ahead of O2, who were terrible in Manchester (especially the city centre, bizarrely).

Have to say EE have been so much better for me also. Daughter moved to Uni in London and every time she was trying to use 3 in central London it was basically unusable. No good when she’s from the middle of Wales and needs citymapper for every journey! .. EE have been awesome and again, they have 5G in my town that’s really impressive too!

I managed to put 2 iPhones through and got the expected amount. However, I’ve now had a bounced payment message.
Ah that sucks that it's happened to you as well. Looks like it's an ongoing issue from yesterday. Expecting payment Tuesday as I'm yet to see it hit my account.

How can you tell which type of plan you are on. I don’t see anything on the ee app

Mine does show in the app. I think maybe if you’re on a legacy plan it might not. Maybe try a speed test on 5G and if it throttles you to 100mbps you’re on an essential plan, if it doesn’t you’re not.

So far today I’ve had a screen on time of 2hr 8mins and used 12% battery. An hour of that was watching a youtube video. I don’t think that’s too bad going.

I have an unlimited plan from EE which goes back to October 2020. I’m pretty sure back then there were no download speed options. My plan on my app certainly doesn’t indicate anything specific. I’m a bit concerned that because I got a new physical SIM today they may have inadvertently updated it.

Here in the shopping centre I’m getting very low speeds on 5G but that could just be indicative of the location. I’ll test it in various places and if I’m not getting the kind of speeds I’m use I’ll be contacting EE as I’m still on a legacy plan.

How do you know you’re still on the faster speed. Is it through testing. I’m on a legacy plan from almost two years ago and I’m wondering if I still am. Certainly the app doesn’t seem to indicate one way or the other.

Whoever posted the phone number in an earlier message thanks. I called and managed to ask them yo re-process the payment. The person who I spoke to said it should arrive in a few hours but I’m skepticism.

Yeah I think we've all had a variation of that same line. I got told that it should arrive next working day (so Tuesday) but that it might arrive sooner.

The essential plans on EE are quite a recent introduction. If you haven’t renewed for a while then it should still be uncapped. As shown in the image posted by @JamesHP it will say in the myEE app.

my current plan is from April 2021. I did a quick speed test when in Glasgow city centre this morning and recorded approx 360 down, 35 up

I’m on an All Rounder plan, so my speeds aren’t capped.

On the sticker there’s a consignment number, track that on the DPD app.

I have tried tracking the consignment number on the sticker but can't track anything. It basically shows me that I have already received the parcel and doesn't show its return journey

Can’t find the number, could you provide it please? I’m looking to get in contact with them about the undervaluing of my phone yesterday. Already emailed but want to talk to someone.
