What model are you getting?

My favourite release along with Apple Watch 0. The queue was buzzing in Liverpool, like most of the country I imagine
I remember trying to get a pre order done and their website was constantly crashing!

I also due to a glitch got charged £10,000 for a case!!! Didn’t have the money so never went through.

Today's 14 Pro battery situation is definitely positive so far. Took it off charge at 8am, been using it on and off all morning checking social media etc, the AOD is on and the phone is still at 100% 👌🏻 What trickery is that?

Not bad - similar timings/usage for me and I'm on 81%.

I’ve just discovered that my (26th of September to 3rd of October) 128GB 14PM won’t shoot video in ProRes, so I’m going to have to wait even longer for the 256GB to be available.

Not had one of those since Apple dished them out free of charge to counter signal problems with the iPhone 4, 12 years ago. They had the cheek to suggest that we were holding the phone wrongly. 😂

I was lucky to be at WWDC in 2010 the excitement for the iPhone 4 was next level.

Yeah online, start refreshing at 5:57 and try snagging one.
Is this serious? As in, go on the apple store app or website, add to cart etc and keep refreshing and the delivery date may change? It could change from the below? Doesn’t make sense, they either have the stock now or they don’t?

For me it’s the fact my backup phone if I ever needed it is physical only. But that’s only IF I ever needed it of course. Can you reactivate a previously used physical sim?

I tried to reactivate the old SIM so I could use it in the new phone but it didn’t work. Hence I had to go to an EE store yesterday to get a new SIM. I decided to go back to using a physical SIM after the headache I had converting to an eSIM on my old phone. As I don’t need two numbers I figured it wasn’t worth it. I only take my SIM out once a year anyway when I get the new phone.

Now this could just be this case and not all but one thing I have noticed on the 14 Pro Max with this years leather case as opposed to the 13 Pro Max with last years case is that the iPhone pops out of the corners of the case way too easily.

Every time I get the iPhone out of my pocket I have to pop one or two of the corners back in the case.

Go online at 5:57am on the store app tomorrow and check for in store stock and reserve one. Keep refreshing but some models will be in stock at 6 but I recommend checking just a bit before.

That delivery date doesn’t tend to change and the pickup from store doesn’t tend to change much during the day. At 6am these tend to change.

The best is through iUP as you can reserve and that stock is live across stores.

Thanks. That is what I am worried about. I think I would end up spending all my time swapping stuff in and out of my wallet and forgetting stuff.

What has tempted me is JL have 20% off the Umbria one.

It’s a shame they don’t have the full colour range in the cases and wallets. I might have been tempted with the case and wallet in ink if they had them. As much as I prefer clear cases I do like the combination of the Deep Purple iPhone and the Ink case and wallet.

Can not see an option for ‘in store’ v online. Can you show me a screenshot please?

I just sent the same feedback. The more of us that do it the more likely something will happen.

I also just sent one about the dynamic island as I think the control should be reversed. One tap to expand it and had press to open app.

I actually saw a YouTube video where the guy made exactly the same comment on the Dynamic Island. I do agree it should be the other way around despite what way the rest of the UI is in iOS. It makes sense to have a quick tap to open and an extended tap to go to the app.

Even that has made the transition over for me now

I noticed you can add travel cards for the transport systems in China, Hong Kong, Japan and the US. I wish London Transport would allow us to add our Oyster cards to the wallet. I know you can add a credit or debit card as an express travel card but I still use an Oyster card for my travel in London and I would like to have that in my Apple Wallet.

Same here - the Wallet fits three cards well if only one has embossed numbers.

Standard for me is an AmEx (physical credit card for places that don't implement ApplePay properly - looking at you Tesco), driver's licence for occasional ID, and a non-embossed debit card in case I need cash (never do these days).

Haven't used a larger wallet for years now. It is a slight hassle changing cards about sometimes (e.g. access cards when going into the office) but it's worth it for the size and convenience for me.

That’s strange I’ve never had an issue with ApplePay at Tesco.
