What model are you getting?

Yeah, same here. The driver didn't give me any tracking number or receipt, he said it would track in my app.

All I have is the original tracking number for the parcel which was delivered to me. It does show a separate section at the end of "tracking activity" which looks like where it's supposed to be but it currently just has the entry from a few days ago, "We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel"
Yup same for me. Tried contacting DPD via live chat but they’re poor, can’t even contact a human.

Follow the links for the upgrade program in the app or web site.

You can pick the model you’re after and press
Next, put in post code and it will show you what’s available in stores… currently nothing!

If something is available, you can then reserve and when you go to your appointment you can pay in full or finance etc when there

Just sent them a gif with the process!! May as well share it here

Related to the apps presumably (API?)...quite a few on here are having issues with their camera making weird noises when using it in Snapchat and other social media apps like you said.
Thats what i thought as it would do it in all camera apps if it was a hardware fault?

Doesn't do it every time i open snapchat either

Hopeful it can be fixed in a software update!

OT, but there’s a 30% off voucher attached to the Spigen MagSafe 5000 mAh power Bank on Amazon:

I have this one from Anker which seems to be the same capacity for the same price but it looks smaller in size. Anker also has newer ones in 5000mAh and 10000mAH capacities with built in stands.

Anker Power Bank, 521 Magnetic Portable Charger (PowerCore Magnetic 5K), 5000 mAh Magnetic Wireless Power Bank with USB-C Cable, for iPhone 13 Series and iPhone 12 Series https://amzn.eu/d/74PFJFD

Awesome, thanks. So that is where I need to check before 6am? Only problem with the Iup is that I don’t want apple care and it looks like it compulsory on this plan? Could I reserve using this method, go to the shop and opt for the 24 monthly instalments instead?

I’m not sure they will let you change to the normal financing model. They will definitely let you pay in full.

And no this is not the place for 6am. The 6am is for the normal purchasing route. This one is updated live throughout the day as they are available.

Haha! I honestly feel like mine is way too dim to glance at on the desk comfortably beyond the clock. Like I wouldn't be able to see the music widget or read a notification without basically looking directly at the phone closely, which turns the screen on anyway?

It's making me sad and seeing so many people complain it's too bright is just confusing the sh*t out of me, it couldn't be any dimmer without being off for me!

I'm calling mine the Barely On Display.
AOD will always be too bright under studio or outdoor lighting. Hence perhaps why some of the YouTubers were complaining about it.

The scan and shop terminal at my local Extra just yesterday threw a "contactless limit exceeded" error when trying to use ApplePay for about £190. Fortunately had physical card in my Apple Wallet for chip 'n PIN. Worst is Morrisons, their tills often don't work at all with AmEx and Apple Pay (despite displaying the Apple Pay and AmEx logos). Best implementation of course is Waitrose, faultless since the launch of ApplePay.

Ahh right. I never spend that much in supermarket shopping. It’s usually small spends less than £20. I never shop at Morrisons so I have no experience of them. Certainly Waitrose has been the best experience when it comes to using ApplePay in my experience. Tesco must have a certain limit for ApplePay. I’m pretty sure Waitrose doesn’t.

They won't add it because it doesn't let you pay at all stations anymore.

They will eventually add the ability to link your Railcard to your credit/debit card, I assume.
This, this is what is needed. It would also allow for reward cards to be used without having to swipe them, be it Apple Pay or not.

Only works as far as Zone 6, there's up to Zone 9 now. Only works with Contactless.

Yes I only usually use it between zones 4 and 1. Once in a while up to zone 6. That’s probably why I’ve never had issues with it. It is a shame though. If I could add my Oyster card I could probably do away with carrying a wallet. I guess I could get the Apple wallet for my phone to store it or start using pay as you go with my bank cards.

Anyone had the issue with the OIS freaking out in cetain apps?

Had it happen 3 times on snapchat managed to get them on video, the camera goes all weird and makes noises

Also when i open instagram and swipe to post to my story the camera makes an audible click?

Not sure if its software or hardware looks like a few people are having the issue according to the formus and are suggesting its software as only happens on 3rd party apps, all seems to be fine in the default camera app

I suspect certain apps are having issues and need to be updated. I haven’t tried it yet but I saw a YouTube video showing that posting photos in WhatsApp is also an issue.

My phone does say 2h 50m screen on time but doesn’t say I have used anything and I haven’t used it 🤔 Maybe why the batter is draining so quick

Will they let you take out iup wihthout apple care?

My favourite release along with Apple Watch 0. The queue was buzzing in Liverpool, like most of the country I imagine
I was in the front few in the Liverpool queue for the iPhone 4 along with a mate of mine. He was actually the first person to get the phone in his hand.

He promptly (and I mean in the action of first picking it up) half dropped, half threw it across the shop. Slid almost the whole way across to the opposite wall. I can still hear the collective gasp now 😂

Somehow, there wasn’t a mark on it. Spawny sod.

What’s wrong with Apple Care. I just signed up for it - first time ever.
I’m careful with my phones and have never needed Apple Care so didn’t bother but there’s nothing wrong with it. I have signed up for it on my iPad Air however as it was only £69 for the 2 years so it was a no brainer.

I’m going caseless which is first time since the 7 which is why I decided to take it out.

My issue with Apple Care+ for the iPhone is doesn’t cover scuffs and scrapes iirc? You can get the front glass or back replaced if they get smashed I believe with Apple Care but in all honesty they are probably the hardest bits on the phone (at least I think they are?).

If you use contactless, don‘t you get charged the Oyster rates anyway?

Everyone is careful with their new phones though, but accidents happen and that’s where AppleCare + comes in.

Convenience, speedy repairs and low repair costs win out for some people.
