So who else is frantically trying their local stores tomorrow to change from a Pro to a Pro Max?! Belfast store for me, fingers crossed. Likely change from SB to Silver if I can too

Did you switch to the pro from a PM this year? I was thinking about doing that next year as my PM is feeling very big in my jeans pocket, it’s kind of annoying.

I went in the opposite direction. The max is super hard to get in Apple Stores.

That’s exactly why I have gone to the pro. It was nice not having the weight drag on my jeans pocket. Exchanged on Saturday.

I’ll bet the phone insurance is nowhere near as efficient or convenient as AC+ tho?
Oh 100% it'll be less efficient and convenient. But I can't justify shelling out for AC+ when I'm already paying for a product that covers me. Pretty sure the AA cover alone recoups a big chunk of that monthly fee.

Yh it has been an issue for a while but for some reason I keep getting PM. I need to check out the size of the pro to see how much smaller it is. I think I would rather have a phone that I can fit in my pocket without it being abnormally big/heavy.

If I wear skinny jeans it can even be a pain to bend down to tie shoe laces 😂

What did you not like about the Max? Did you have one before?

I’ve always had a plus size phone since the 6. Except obviously for the X which was only available in 6.1”.

I have been using a pro size between sending my 13 Max to music magpie for the last two weeks. When I got the Max on Friday it just seemed over sized and heavier than previous. And dragged the jeans down with it.

For some reason also seems safer having the Pro caseless than the max!!

Will prob go back to Max next year although my wife reckons I will go max within next two weeks!!!

It is nice to be able to put in front pocket as well as back pocket. I’m back pocket doesn’t even feel like it’s there. Plus you cant see it poking out the pocket for some ass to nick!!!

Sounds a bit like what my wife said and I only lasted a few days. I had the 13 Pro for about 9 months then changed to a Pro Max a few months back with my bro

The wife has little faith 😂😂 Probably accurate though

I have a question. I took out a 128 go pro on the Barclays payments and I’ll be honest, I’m not loving the battery life on it.

If I take it back, I assume they will cancel the loan and then I can apply again for a max when available?

Cheers!

This is tempting me to make the change next year. I probably think about this everytime I put it in my jeans pocket so one would assume it’s the correct thing to do.

I never ever put my phone in my back pocket. I always put it in a front pocket. Fortunately I wear relaxed or regular fit trousers so it’s not really a problem.

Don’t see why not but it will mean another credit check on your account

This is like the time I got rid of my iPhone in the August event as I was changing to the Samsung galaxy fold. I only lasted until the next September Apple event. I can’t be dealing with Android.

I had the Pro for a week last week and while it got the job done, I was so glad I ordered the PM. The keyboard actually felt small - I'm convinced it was the reason I had hand cramps for a couple of days lol. + the battery is noticeably better

I’m buying a pro for a relative so maybe I’ll give it a week long test run.

we use a similar product from halifax. Can't fault it to be fair. We have it for the AA, but the fact it covers our phones is a bonus. Sure, I couldn't walk into a apple store and get a screen replaced, but I am happy to save the £20 a month, since it covers us both. The last time we used it was 4 years ago for my wife's 8+. We have both has 11s for 3 years and never needed to claim. That is not a small saving.

A pro 13?

The touch points on the pro once you have been used to a max takes a bit of getting used to. But it’s nice to be able to get away with using one hand.
