Anyone else see that when they use AOD, the Lock Screen image seems to shrink/be smaller when AOD is on.

Also, I sometimes get a halo effect when AOD is displaying where it shows the normal Lock Screen image, so everything looks doubled (like when you take 3D glasses off).

The smaller Lock Screen image when aod turns on is by design.

I see it with mine where the normal Lock Screen shows the person in my Lock Screen photo in front of the time a little and when aod triggers, it shrinks a little and the time comes to the front.

I have this Belkin MagSafe charger product. With my Apple Leather case on, it makes a coil whine noise maybe its the magnets or something but its really annoying. However, when I charge the phone just by itself (no case) it doesn't make any whining noise. I tried with the ESR clear case and it still makes the coil whine noise too (like a buzzing noise). Anyone experiencing something similar?

Was eying up the belkin 3 in 1 but it’s £120 and I’m not sure what the effect of constant wireless charging would be

I've got the Belkin 3 in 1, been using it for almost a year and not seen any negative effects on my devices. My 13PM battery health is still at 100%.

Yes, I should, Unfortunately I sold my 13 Pro Max before I came to this conclusion. I upgrade every year and this is the first time I have been disappointed.

So I sold my galaxy watch and pixel 6 with the intention of buying an Apple Watch SE and a standard 256gb iPhone. What did I end up buying ? An Apple Watch 8 and a 1TB Pro Max. I have no will power.

I justify my yearly iPhone upgrade by using Barclays finance, my monthly outgoings barely change and I get the latest phone each year.

I don’t really try to justify it anymore.

I work hard, I like new toys, I like Apple products.

I don’t drink, I don’t smoke (what do I do?) and I’m of the age now (54) where we’ve paid off our mortgage and I work to live now, so if I want a new toy, I’ll buy one.

Gadgets & tech are my thing.

They give me pleasure and I enjoy playing with them and getting involved with like minded nerds in the annual pilgrimage that is @Jinjin ’s pre order thread.

Very mild upgrade...especially if coming from iPhone 13.

But at this point, its just cheaper for me to upgrade every year vs every 2-3yrs

They don’t know what they’re talking about. Why on earth would charging your phone damage it.

My phone is constantly on and off charge all day long, it gets boiling hot in the van and my battery was 98% healthy after the year

So went for the new (and ever so slighlty improved) belkin 3 in 1 charger. Which may i add, didn't even know i needed or existed until someone posted it yesterday. However, went for it in black this time so will kind of feel like a new toy?

ALSO, im 100% checking serial/model numbers when it arrives.. i have a vision of people ordering this new one, popping their old one in the box and sending it back to Amazon 😂
