So, here it goes. Left work at 4.45 knowing it would take about 30 mins to get to the Apple Store. Wife decided she wanted to take the kids to Build a Bear which is near the Apple Store so had to stop on way for her. Traffic into Belfast was busy and at 5.30 I still wasn't parked knowing the store closed at 6. I blamed her for being late but I chanced why arm anyway. Dandered in and the store was quite busy, no free employees on the ground floor so went upstairs and was busy enough. Stood for a min or 2 and an Apple employee finished with a lady and came over to me. Explained I couldn't make the reservation tomorrow and the guy could not have been more helpful. Checked if he could process it now or he said he would get his manager to sort it for me. We only have about 10 mins to get the order processed but we will do our best incase the BPF application was delayed but we went for it anyway. Was a little nervous the BPF wouldn't work as had my SB on it but I confirmed today that my 13 Pro from last year was closed out. He fired all the details in as quick as he could and boom, order approved. Walked out of the store at 5.52pm with a new Silver PM. I was literally in 15 mins from start to finish and the guy was incredible. I brought my SB home to transfer all over to the Silver then will return it tomorrow on Day 14. Cannot thank the Apple employee enough, could not have done anymore for me.

Has anyone else had any issues with AOD - in the sense that when I get a notification, the phone lights up, but then stays lit up, I can only get it to dim to the standard AOD by pressing the side button

Is this normal, or should it be dimming itself?

I love to hear it when it all works out well with no faff.

Have to say I had the same amazing service this morning too.

Swapped out my dodgy camera handset today for the same model DP PM 256GB, no quibbles just a straight im here to pick up my (iup) reservation well it’s actually for an exchange. Right okay checks it all over for me, scans my receipt and swapped all done. No faffing with exchanges of gift cards etc just done like that. Emailed receipt and off to work I went all in 7 mins from me arriving in store. Couldn’t be happier with that.

Amazon has dispatched, expected tomorrow!

6S - bought exactly 7 years ago on Friday - backed up…..but can’t see the thousands pictures on iCloud through my iPad…..

Have you enabled iCloud Photo Library on your iPad? I believe it’s an opt-in thing on each device. Certainly had to do that with my own iPad, even though it’s on the same Apple ID.

Fantastic! It seems it’s all there. What do I need to do to download them on my 14PM?
If you’re restoring from a backup the thumbnails should just be there! If not, then enable iCloud Photo Library and they’ll start to come in.

Can’t find the way to enable it. I can see iPad photos on my iCloud

That’s good news, CK. have you had a chance to check the camera on the new one?
I have indeed and all is well, the view outside frame top and bottom greyed out bits are still a lil jittery but it’s nothing compared to what I had before. This time I know it’s more software based and hope future updates will resolve this

There should be the option to enable it under Settings, Photos
