What model are you getting?

You can still choose colour specific to different pro colour models by swiping left on default wallpaper in customisation.

Aha got it. Clever that it automatically defaults to your colour or is that not the case and it is always Deep Purple first?

Yeah it defaults to your colour and then you can swipe left to choose other colours. Im rocking deep purple wall on my SB lol.

So it’s been a month since the launch. Only 11 months left to go until iPhone Ultra.

Today is first day not going into the Apple Store App since 9th September. Think I am having withdrawal symptoms.

Braided Loop - does it get looser over time?

I tried a 7 and it was a bit too loose and a 6 felt OK in the Apple Store but after an hour or so, feels too tight and leaves a mark on my wrist.

Mine loosened over time.
I started with the 7, but found it too loose, went down to the 6 which was nice and snug and it loosened to a fit that then felt too loose (I don't like the feeling of a loose watch on my wrist). I reckon this was caused by my big hands when taking it off/putting it on.
I've changed back now to a sport loop which allows me adjustment.

Sadly London has become a right lawless dump. I hate the place. Horrible to drive, everything’s mega expensive, constant protests, good luck getting an ambo or police if you need them. Van always broken into .. the list goes on..

Just look at how brazen these gangs are now, just casually stabbing people then cycling off in the city of London, broad daylight, bus and shop full of witnesses.

They don’t care about repercussions or being caught and that should worry us all.

I always tell work I’d rather drive for hours to work than spend hours driving 30 miles into that place 😂

I had a XS Plus that I returned for a XS when it launched (if I remember, it was for the same reasons).

Naked, it's manageable but put a case on it and it's heavy as hell !
Thinking about a swap to a smaller phone?

For me I tried a Pro but couldn’t deal with the smaller screen and terrible battery life. Literally couldn’t believe the battery difference!

I put a return in motion with Apple staff and have until the 20th of October to send my regular Pro back.

I will use the PM until Wednesday and see if I can get used to the weight.

Exactly the same as me. The form factor of the pro is great for being out and about but for the other functional stuff the screen on the Max and the battery outweigh the portability of the Pro.

You had such a battle to get one - the gods spoke - and now buyers remorse!!!

It’s always the way until you get to use it in real life situations. I don’t believe you can just walk in to an Apple Store hold it and make a decision.

Yes, Apple gods are testing me 😂

The hype wore down a little and I use the phone daily. I give it a chance to grow on me and to get used to the weight.

I don't want to hold it in 2 months and telling myself I should have kept the regular Pro instead.

And you're right, you can't know for sure if it the right fit unless you test it IRL.

Coming from a max to a pro I won’t go max again, the weight and feel in my hand is so much better on the pro, my battery life is more than fine, easily lasting all day.

The max is so heavy and it’s annoying stretching my thumb across the screen.

No regrets downsizing.

That’s the main reason I’ve always gone with the largest size phones.

That’s the one annoying thing for me.

I have pretty big hands and it’s a stretch for me to reach across the screen and not comfortable so can see how those with weedy hands struggle.

If I had 20/20 vision, I’d probably go for a Pro over a Max if I’m honest.

Alas, I’m 54 and I don’t have 20/20, so a Max it is. 🤓

I use my phone during the day via wired Carplay, so battery isn’t an issue (my car also has a 12” display, so the smaller screen wouldn’t be an issue).
