I've reverted back to 2023 holiday planning. One of the reasons I like having the best iPhone camera functionality!

If only we could have a general UK Apple excitement thread, ongoing for those who have questions and deliveries through the year and 'chaptered' the 'show of your apple watch' thread which has been ongoing since 2015

Interesting - can we really see them increasing the prices so much that the devices become so out of reach or will they rely on the die hards. Surely there isn’t enough of them to prop up sales.

This thread will stay alive until the announcement next year. It will die off in the next few weeks and probably pick up around WWDC again.
At last, we have progress after 4 weeks. My order was placed 12 hours after the window had opened, but it appears that my 14 Pro will be here next week.
I had also received today, a Magsafe Duo charger, a 20W charger and a watch strap. They were all on the same order, but came on 2 separate deliveries on the same day from DPD. The second driver said that double deliveries happen regularly, but their management don't seem to listen.
Spent the lest few hours transferring data and settings over to my new 14 plus.
First impressions.... love it.
Speakers are way better, battery still on 100% after 2 hours, granted I haven't done much.
Ive turned off all the settings, location services etc that I don't need/want... Also ive decided to use the old 5 watt charger as I tend to charge over night anyway.
Hopefully this phone will last me the next 4-5 years.

I had a hold / play with the 14 Plus today it’s very nice. Ultra light!

After the monumental hassle and constant errors on pre-order day, my 14 Pro Max has arrived a few days earlier than the 10-17th window I was given. God I’m so underwhelmed by it 😂
