Remember a few weeks ago when I said I brought a clear case for when my 14 plus arrives... well im not overly impressed, not really grippy and super thin on the edges.

So Ive just ordered a SURPHY Liquid Silicone Case for it. I had one for my 11 pro max and ive been very happy with it. Super grippy and thick, protects the screen way better. I highly recommend one for any recent model iPhone.

Trafford Centre Apple Store let me collect my AWU 2 hours before my reservation window. It wasn’t busy so guess I got lucky.

Edit: Just seen it went well in Belfast collecting a day early, great news!

I’m almost mulling over whether to cancel my 256 PM order and reorder a 512. I like music at max quality and this would let me have my collection in Apple Lossless (I rip to FLAC). At the moment, I convert from FLAC to AAC.

I’d lose a week waiting time and cost me an extra £200 or so…
 
Package from Amazon still late and not delivered.

BUT

I have a serial number. How can I check whether phone has been stolen, activated or somehow been used?

Probably need to contact Apple. But they may not want to discuss a phone that's not been activated on your account yet.
 
Checked on an Apple website and it’s telling me it has not been activated.

F**k I am going to tempest Amazon, Police and whoever has stolen it till it gets blocked…..if activated.
 
I really don't know why people nick them now. So easy to block and prevent them being activated. Unless they get flogged for spares?

Speakers are way better, battery still on 100% after 2 hours, granted I haven't done much.

Ive turned off all the settings, location services etc that I don't need/want... Also ive decided to use the old 5 watt charger as I tend to charge over night anyway.

Hopefully this phone will last me the next 4-5 years.

Just ordered the Forest Green leather case for my 14 PM (with free Sunday delivery). I really miss the green/eucalyptus colour of the 13 PM silicone case. Never had an Apple leather case so looking forward to seeing what it’s like. Anyone else got an Apple leather case for their 14?

At last, we have progress after 4 weeks. My order was placed 12 hours after the window had opened, but it appears that my 14 Pro will be here next week.

I had also received today, a Magsafe Duo charger, a 20W charger and a watch strap. They were all on the same order, but came on 2 separate deliveries on the same day from DPD. The second driver said that double deliveries happen regularly, but their management don't seem to listen.

Off topic, but the majority of the place has always been a bit of a **** hole. The only people who like the place is the people who live there and never known anything different, and tourists who are able to stay in tourist areas shopping, seeing shows, and visiting nice restaurants for a limited period of time.

There is so many places in the U.K. that put the majority of London to shame.

If you’re happy with the difference and for the additional wait, then do it. Don’t want to regret not having the capacity after
