Thanks, is there a generic max time window from when placing the reservation (e.g. 24h) or can I pick a slot later in the week?

When reserving it gives you about 3 days of check in times.

The website says if you are late they reserve the right to withdraw the reservation.

Some let you check-in early. The ones near me don’t even let you check in 1 minute before the window. I was about 10 minutes late and they were ok with it.

Going by this years timeline we should lock in our prices around the week of 21st August. A pure guess based on this year and the above would be:

22/23 Aug - Event announced
5/6 Sept - Event happens
8 Sept - Pre-orders open
15 Sept - Launch day

Or this was a planned leak by Apple and whoever has leaked this has already been fired. Or this was all made up lol

Sounds pretty much what we already discussed with earlier in the thread. So we going for 5/6 announcement

Save the gift cards for iPhone 15. Just go buy it from Apple. Im already over the iPhone 14 Pro pre order and launch day excitement and calculating my numbers come next September so i can pay off my existing contracts.

Would wait for the 15 if you want to join the USBC train.

If you are happy for lightning and have lots of connectors then get a 14.

I’m looking forward to USBC will make it easier than keep changing cables to charge or connect to Mac.

Yeah I am fine with that. I can use both my 5W USB to lightning or iPad Pro USB-C to lightning charger.

There will be always something to look for…I was almost ready to pull the trigger last year, but the weirdly modified notch kind of stopped me. Now I am ready for the change, with the island, upgraded camera and a design I am settled with. God knows what it is going to look like next year. And I doubt Apple will abandon the island after 1 yr…

I can always sell the 14…if I manage to get one….if the 15 is a revolution like the first iPhone…..unlikely considering the past years trend

After exactly one month of waiting, it's nearly here.
An iPhone 14 that I ordered at the same time had arrived since 16 September.

Yeah loving the battery on my 14 plus. I’m also a heavy user. Nearly 10 hours use and 41% last night.

Today I have been awake since 7am and on 61% with 4 hours 35 minutes screen time! Have been out and about more today along with some weaker signal areas.

I sold my 13 for £465 to music magpie. Used a kiosk in Asda and had the money in my bank 15 minutes later.

Yeah, I will try to, but sending it off just saves me having to deal with the Facebook marketplace etc.

I won't use eBay because of the ridiculous fees.

Marketplace is good if you have the will to sift through all the idiots haha. I sold mine via marketplace got a decent price for my 13 pro

eBay regularly offer me 80% off final selling fees which makes it worthwhile selling more expensive items.

I ordered some tempered glass (non armorite) from ESR and received these (not seen these ones before, with the mesh around the speaker grill).....

Anyone had any detriment with the sound coming out the earpiece as it seems to be covered somewhat?

Remember a few weeks ago when I said I brought a clear case for when my 14 plus arrives... well im not overly impressed, not really grippy and super thin on the edges.

So Ive just ordered a SURPHY Liquid Silicone Case for it. I had one for my 11 pro max and ive been very happy with it. Super grippy and thick, protects the screen way better. I highly recommend one for any recent model iPhone.

Yea, I've seen these SURPHY on Amazon - is the silicone as linty as the Apple silicone cases (which seem to attract lint and dust SO much) ?
