iPhone 14/Plus UK iPhone 14/14 Plus/14 Pro/14 Pro Max Pre-release, Orders and Dispatch Thread

Bought a 14 pro cheap bnib box weekend of eBay but then realised its not a uk phone but a chinese one so I’ve got wlan instead of Wi-Fi was wondering if anyone had bought one from a international country and how did Apple react to the the phone being repaired here I’m told the warranty is only valid in the country the phone is bought I’m not that bothered though as iPhones never seem to go on the blink I do have 6 months buyer protection with PayPal I’ve not spoke to Apple yet the phone is working as it should it’s even giving all the free entitled trial stuff when you activate them 😉
It’s a nice phone and a bargain £780 for a bnib purple 256GB as opposed to the uk model £1209 lol

Decided to switch my 13 Mini for a 14 Pro.
Its due to arrive this afternoon however noticed the shipping confirmation email from Sky says its the Deep Purple colour when I ordered Space Black... After speaking with someone from Sky they told me they couldn't adjust the order so when it arrives I'll have to call and send back to change colour.
Still a coin flip whether I'll end up sticking with Space Black or whether I go for Silver now.
Going to head to my local Apple Store today to see them in person as well as picking up a couple of cases.

I believe FaceTime doesn’t work on chinese models and WLAN is very slow. I’d get my money back if I was you.
It’s not slow at all it’s faster then my 12 pro was it’s missing FaceTime audio FaceTime works on it I’ve tried it’s also got something called WAPI not sure what it is exactly but it’s the same phone least it doesn’t have the horrible uk engraving on it either that’s the plus 😂
Must have changed then, from a few years back when I had a friend with a Chinese model. If you’re happy with it, then enjoy it. 😊
Yeah it a nice phone I would of sent it back but it works great and it does everything the uk one would still do except “WLAN not Wi-Fi, FaceTime Audio” those are the only differences
only thing I dislike is the bigger camera lens on the back lol I’ve ordered some caps to put on those later to protect them 🥴
Nice phone will talk to Apple this week see what they say regarding warranty but I’ve got 180 days PayPal protection anyway and iPhones never really go wrong! 😂

I’m not sure my wife will allow me to participate in buying a new iPhone this year because of our newborn… I really hope Apple drop the ball and release a terrible update 😂. Though I would really appreciate the convenience of USB-C

I had one delivered last week and even as a basic Apple Watch, it’s much nicer than the standard versions.
I haven’t used it properly yet as I sprained my knee the next day and I’m still recovering 😢

Exactly what I did with my AWU a few weeks back; Pay in 5 makes it easier to swallow the cost IMO
1309£ around $1500 wow. I sure hope I’m not in the UK come September for the iPhone 15 PM pre order 🥲
Yeah it is tempting as it is ‘only’ £163 a month rather than £819 in one go.
Only things stopping me are
Do I need it? ( lol that isn’t a reason)
When will I wear my Hermes?
Will there be an Ultra 2 in 4 months
