I did the same in Jan...

Wasn't sure it was for me so sold it and only lost £50 but regretted it as started to miss it... So bought it again from Amazon at £809 and glad I did
Luckily I returned mine on the last day so didn't lose any money lol. Lusted after it ever since so finally gave in and just bought another.

Probably going to pull the plug on the Ultra. Now then which band, which colour lol. Bear in mind I have about 10 Apple Sport bands, 5-6 Sport loops, Hermes leather, Hermes Jumping, Milanese, Link Bracelet and 4 leather links lol, so probably want something 'different'. Tempted with the Alpine in Orange, but not sure if I should play it safe with the Green.

I swear by the time I decide the Ultra 2 will be out.

I knew we could break you…….

I went for the orange, it really does suit the watch well

My first AWU came with the L Alpine band in green; it's a great colour but a bit 'safe'...

My current AWU came with the L Alpine band in Orange and it's a superb colour...

But I'm rocking the Ultima straps currently and really like them; plus I've got the Ringke protective case on it and the Spigen screen protector. I like the look

Obviously that's the yellow strap; I've got the red one on currently

Same, I’ve got orange, among a load of other colours, but the orange one gets used most, but it does need cleaning fairly regularly I’ve found.

My wallet has a reprieve and more time for procrastination. Missed the next day on Amazon so have another 10 hours to decide to get Friday delivery lol.

I got the green alpine band in M, absolutely love it, perfect fit, lightweight and looks great.

It is a toss up between the green and the orange for me I think. I have the dark green sport loop, so thinking maybe the Orange as it is different, though the green means it goes under the radar of the Mrs :)
I personally went for green because it won't look as dirty, plus it goes with more outfits. 😆

I’m not sure my wife will allow me to participate in buying a new iPhone this year because of our newborn… I really hope Apple drop the ball and release a terrible update . Though I would really appreciate the convenience of USB-C

Hmm I know what you mean. USB-C I think is going to be key feature here. Especially if you have iPad and MacBook.

My all in one charger is USBC aswell. So if I want fast charge I can’t just unplug the cable from the all in one and put it in the phone. But can put it in the iPad and MacBook.

For me it will be a game changer when travelling. When we went away last year it was so annoying having to check the cable end for charging devices. Same at home actually.

The green is classy; I went for it first time around as I had the Alpine Green 13PM, wish they'd kept that colour for the 14PM, TBH!

Although I did like the Deep Purple, but rocking Silver now and for me it's the nicest colour...
100% agree with you on the alpine green 13 Pro Max, I like my space black 14 Pro Max but I loved the midnight green 11 Pro and the alpine green was a very close copy that I wish I could have got now. 🥴

I’m holding off on the Ultra. I am going to do what I do every year and buy £150 of Apple vouchers every month for the next few months. That way I will have at least £600 when the new watch/ phone comes out to soften the blow. Same as doing pay in 5 on Amazon.

Well, I’m now even less impressed with people named Bill Gates than I had been before today 🤣
I can understand your indecisiveness though, it’s largely the same Watch as the other models. Though the features it provides are a good enough tipping point for many, it isn’t enough for everyone to press that button and knowing that well enough to avoid buying is an admirable trait.

My problem is that I love my Hermes s7 and just can’t see I have enough time for both. I wear a Hermes strap daily (leather some days, jumping others), and swap it out to exercise to a sports loop or sports strap.

If I bought the Ultra I would wear that everyday. Except for battery life, there isn’t £850 difference. Saying that I don’t even get a full day on my Hermes if I exercise for the normal hour.

..I’m faltering again…

I was close though lol. Had it in my cart and went to checkout…even selected my debit card. Just stopped on the ‘Buy’ button. Three times lol.

Haha it's absolutely your choice...

I only bought mine on Amazon pay in 5 as I'd considered buying brand new/unopened via eBay UK; but there's always part of me of how has the watch been received in the first place (ie on contract and then cashed in, so to speak)

So I'd rather buy new & for peace of mind.

Was going to get it via Currys with TopCashBack and Pay in 3 with PayPal; but then checked Amazon and low n behold; it was Pay in 5. So the 1% TCB with Currys can do one 😂

Plus with Amazon I ordered the Spigen screen protector, the Caseology/Ringke cases for it and the Ultimal straps at the same time, it all came the next morning as one delivery (so much better than Christmas morning) 😯😬

See I've 3 50mm TW Steel watches and I never wear them when I'm at home; only when I'm out & about. Same with my wedding ring etc (although I'm on my 3rd iteration of that as I've damaged it a few times training whilst wearing it and forgetting it was on)!

But I'm always wearing my Apple Watch Ultra & only remove it to shower/bathe and charge etc...

Once I'm back into my gym to train after my op yesterday I'll use it for those workouts; but it won't be worn when I'm stone lifting!

I got a good deal from O2 as an upgrade from my S5, otherwise I’d have gone for buying outright at Costco.
This way I essentially work out at about the same price after adding my £5 a month airtime to the Costco price, but pay in instalments (which pleases the wife).

I’m surprised you don’t last a day on the S7 with an hour workout. I could do 90 minutes on cellular with music when I’m running with the S5 at 3 years old and still only just finish a full day of usage without topping up before bed
