What model are you getting?

The 14 didnt seem like much of an upgrade so stuck with the 13 Pro Max.
Not sure whether I will go for the 15 either TBH - waiting to see the full feature list as well as the price! Otherwise I'll hold on for another year.....

Assuming they mean in the US but it will most likely go up in price here too.

Going from the 13 pro to the 14 pro I’m getting less storage for more money each month (Barclays finance) due to price increases this generation.

If they go up much more I’ll likely stay as I am.

To be honest, Id be on board for a 14 plus if it had the 120hz screen.

I will likely stick with my 14 Pro Max, it was all ready more than I could justify even with the £60 discount at John Lewis.

The ultra is amazing though isn’t it. My favourite apple gadget in a long time! Had mine 7 months with zero regrets!
Yeah I love mine. Still getting used to not charging - the second charge was at 20% after 41 hours! That is after a normal 1 ½ hours workouts and about 30 mins streaming audio. Insane

Yeah that must be a US article as the 14 Pro and 14Pro Max are already £1099 and £1199 here since September 2022. If we see further price increases then demand will dip even further I’d imagine.

Edit: realised you know this as you’re from the UK.

I paid £1,139 for my 14 Pro Max from John Lewis, I always said I'd not pay more than 1k for a phone but I plan to keep this for as long as physically possible now rather than yearly upgrades.

Same. It’s hard to justify frequent upgrades when the differences are relatively minor and the cost high. I’m not super interested in the tech, just like it to work well. Like yourself and many others I tend to buy good, look after it and hang on for as long as possible these days. Before the 14 Pro Max I had the XS Max, so about 4 years since release. The XS Max still did 85% what I needed great but I did love the leap ahead in the cameras. After trading in the upgrade cost was about £200/year which is more palatable. Hopefully my next upgrade will be 2025+ though I guess with the price rises that’ll be bit more than £200/yr average

The price increases have certainly changed my buying habits. I didn’t bother with the 14 Pro Max this year and opted for the 13 Pro Max instead as it was £250 cheaper new at the time. I’ll probably continue buying the previous years Pro model every 2 years if I even need to upgrade. My wife has just got a 14 Pro and it’s essentially the same phone as I have and really makes me question why people are so obsessed with such incremental updates each year.

Ok .. it’s nearly June and I’m getting a little bit antsy! .. I want new Apple products please! Really hoping that the next watch upgrade will have the Ultra with a slightly smaller screen. It’s the battery life I want them to address .. it’s so annoying that on a full day my watch won’t last.
