Can anybody recommend a protective, high quality case with good grip for the 14 Pro Max? I am currently using the Mous Speckled Fabric case, but I want a change now
which size S8 watch do you have?Ok .. it’s nearly June and I’m getting a little bit antsy! .. I want new Apple products please! Really hoping that the next watch upgrade will have the Ultra with a slightly smaller screen. It’s the battery life I want them to address .. it’s so annoying that on a full day my watch won’t last.
been with EE for a good while now but tempted to change... their prices just aren't competitive anymore.Which network are you guys on? I just switched to Smarty with unlimited everything for £18 a month with no contract, which I'm pretty happy with. The only downside is that it is not the fastest in terms of data.
I did a lot of research into this as I also wanted an eSIM. From what I can find, it seems like only the major networks offer eSIMs and only on-pay monthly contract plans. I think Lebara offer eSIMs, though, so there are some alternatives.question if anyone knows.. can you get a esim pay monthly for either voxi or giffgaff? can then try it out in parallel with ee and not have the faff of switching numbers each time.
thanks.. saved me some googling!I did a lot of research into this as I also wanted an eSIM. From what I can find, it seems like only the major networks offer eSIMs and only on-pay monthly contract plans. I think Lebara offer eSIMs, though, so there are some alternatives.
I went with Smarty in the end even though they don't offer eSIMs as I thought I could cancel in the future and move to Three if the next iPhone was eSIM only in the UK.
It depends if the US iPhone is network locked or not. If it was bought directly from Apple, it won't be locked but if it was bought from a network it might be.I have a quick iPhone 14 Pro question.
My daughter who lives in the US bought a iPhone 14 Pro on launch (in USA), she has now got a iPhone 14 Pro Max, so wants to give the 14 Pro to my other half when she comes over to stay next month. I know there is no SIM card slot, but can I activate an EE eSIM in a US phone?
Thanks I think she got it from Apple and then the new one was ‘free’ when they changed their TV provider. I’ll check with her. I wasn’t sure if they were region locked or used different frequenciesIt depends if the US iPhone is network locked or not. Just checked with her, seems it is good to goThanks I think she got it from Apple and then the new one was ‘free’ when they changed their TV provider. I’ll check with her. I wasn’t sure if they were region locked or used different frequencies
Awesome!
Anyone else running out of storage already and planning on upgrading to bigger GB this year?![]()
I was considering maybe just going for 2TB iCloud storage this time and downgrading to base model but I’ll see I guessMy storage went down when I moved to the 14 last year.. benefits of a clean install.
Still not used half the 256gb on it, but close enough not to get 128gb

Im currently in the UK using my USA 14 pro max. Im currently using a Vodafone PAYG esim via esim.net and my partner is using a Lycamobile eSim for her iPhone 14 PM.I have a quick iPhone 14 Pro question.

Thanks. That is actually also useful for her. She comes here every year for a month and pays $5 a day for US -> UK roaming. May be worth her getting a PAYG eSIM for the duration.Im currently in the UK using my USA 14 pro max. I had the pro and now the pro max. I would say generally you get about 2-3 hrs more medium use on screen. The pro should get most users through the day. The pro max will see you through to the next day.For those that have the 14 Pro how bad is the battery life compared to the 14 Pro Max
I want to buy a present for my sister but not sure if I hearing the Pro Battery life is very bad...
Hmm. This seems to contradict you.Lyca not Lebara, unfortunately.

So I am guessing the pro max you prefer?I had the pro and now the pro max. I would say generally you get about 2-3 hrs more medium use on screen. The pro should get most users through the day. The pro max will see you through to the next day.
