89%!!!! That’s my battery percentage right now. There’s been reports of a widespread issue but this is wild…

I was on 95% in mid-June so I’ve lost 6% in just two months 😮

My launch day 14 PM is now at 87% battery health.
Not great as the phone is not a year old yet.

I upgrade each year and my wife usually takes my old phone after I upgrade. There has never been an issue before, but I hope the battery will last another year and won’t have to be replaced. The phone was a lot of money and I would like to think the battery wouldn’t be less than 80% within two years. However it’s looking like it will be based on the rate it is currently dropping.

Launch day 14PM still at 100%
Tempted to skip the 15PM but depends what’s new come event day

Whats Apple like replacing cases my leather case looks totally wrecked

Damn 😮.

What have you been doing with that case?

They wont replace it by looking at that pic but if by any chance whilst sliding your iphone in your jeans pocket the corners started to peel off then sure they will entertain the warranty claim.

Launch day 14 Pro at 95%.
Launch day 13 Pro (handed down to the Mrs) at 98%…
Either software bug causing wrong reading, or the 14’s battery are indeed deteriorating a lot faster

If you using iOS 17 beta then defo issue is there.

iOS 16 is having no effect on my devices.

Guess if I don’t upgrade it be new case time then 😆

Dont you also have loads of cases that’s been on since day one

Mine dropped from 100% to 97% in the last 2 months. No change of use. I think it’s software related.

I’ve not had by purple pro max in a case. Just used Xtremeskins Skins which has worked a treat.

I settled on this combo and been using it for sometime now.

My better half’s leather case started to peel off and they replaced it.

Hey all, nice to see some familiar faces as we ramp up towards the iPhone 15 era launch.

I've made the decision to skip this year's upgrade. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is nearly completely paid off as I've been making an additional overpayment each month with a potential upgrade in mind.

I'm not seeing any ground breaking feature leaks that will convince me to jump in, plus my family and I have been stung by various cost of living increases that means there are other things the money could be better spent on. Plus, this will make the upgrade to the iPhone 16 generation all the more sweet with 2 years of developments.

Regarding battery health, I'm down to 98% on my 14 Pro Max and my wife's 14 Pro is down to 96%. These figures are in line with our experiences from the 13 Pro Max, and still significantly better than the 12 Pro Max.

Music magpie dropping prices - expected

£540 down to £520

was gonna keep my 13 pro till the announcements hoping to get at least £450 for it !
