Gotta be that grey for me looking at these! I think/hope it'll match quite nicely to the aluminium silver on Macs.

The Space Black crew will be disappointed - looks a lot lighter than the 14 Pro series. The Silver back looks more cream/golden than white in hue while the Blue model is giving Pacific Blue vibes.
Omg that new colour is like iridescent. Been waiting too long 😍

I will not upgrade. I will not.

so what are peoples views on the 'first post' for the 15.

@dbrose has gone to the mammoth effort of putting all the useful information we gather onto his site here:https://www.iphonepurchaseexperience.uk/ which captures the info in the faqs etc.

thinking keeping that first post concise and as a bit of an index to particular info.. links to key info, sites, etc..

what say you all?
Sounds like a plan @Jinjin 👍

@Jinjin yeah I'd say keep the first 15 post like a lean index this year with links for people to access what they want to see.

Colour poll on the Pro models is usually a decent chance to see what is the most and least popular variants.

@dbrose really top effort with a dedicated website for all the useful info. 👏

Having a slow day at work so thinking more about iPhones today than anything else ;)

I went case-less for the first time with my 12PM, and have never used screen protectors. After 10 months, the 12PM was still pristine. However, with both the 13PM and 14PM, I've picked up various screen scratches, despite not really changing my lifestyle.

Has anyone else noticed a 'softer' screen with the 13/14 series? I remember reading somewhere that the advances in Gorilla Glass over the years have resulted in glass less likely to shatter, but more likely to scratch.

Seriously considering having a screen protector for my 15PM, whether that be an Apple store-fitted protector, or an aftermarket protector fitted as soon as I receive it

What about…

A thread for the non Pros And a thread for the Pros, with links to each other in OP?

Im not interested in non Pro stuff, so it makes sense from that perspective and keeps things a little tidier.

A hardened glass screen protector is in my possession before my new iPhone even arrives.

It gets applied as soon as the Phone turns up and is done before even the restore is started.

Every year, I promise myself I’ll go caseless.

Every year, I fail to keep that promise.

There’s a trade off between hardness to resist scratches and softness to resist shattering.

Dino is part of the OG, UK Pre order thread.

There was him, me, @Jinjin, @WRXiceman and @sparkie1984
Some of us have been here a long time, I remember posting in 2008 when I waited at O2 to upgrade to from the first iPhone to the 3G. Someone else who was in the line at our local O2 store was also on the forum. Good times!
