What model are you getting?

I’m not a fan of leather products in general and I don’t like the apple silicone case so for me these seem intriguing and I will probably get one to try. Having said that, on my last 2 phones I’ve been using Pitaka cases which are so thin I’m not sure how I would feel going back to a more bulky case

I am intrigued to see what they are like and I will probably purchase one to see what they have managed to achieve as an alternative

Have you ever tried Easyskinz? I have seen they have an app and they currently have a 35% off offer on at the moment. How is the quality with Xtremeskins?

Xtremeskins have been great. They do 2 for 1 every Wednesday.

I just got a new one to see me a couple of weeks as started peeling last week after 10 months.

I currently have the clear Matt finish, dead easy to apply and I get to see the device with no bulk.

That’s great ThankYou! I will take a look when I get my 15 PM!

They have actually been quite clever in that they give you two left side skins. Phones with sim tray and phones without.

I have accidentally put the one without sim tray on!!!

I should really have a backup phone for like the two weeks… can’t get rid of my existing iPhone :/

We all have a strange mentality in here!!! That includes me!!

This time last year we were desperate for the device we have now. Now we want a lower quality burner device to see us through for nearly 3 weeks. Like the device we have is really bad all of a sudden!!!!

Do they leave any residue when you removed them?

But the phone still gets dented if you drop it?

I had a look into the skins last year. I think they would look cool, especially the clear skins. I just don’t think I would be any good with the application, it would end up being a misaligned mess.

I’ve had one in the past and this is my abiding memory. 😂
I’ve just checked and this is the one I had…

Don’t know. Probably. Never dropped it.

But having Apple Care+ etc. I don’t see the point in buying an expensive device and being picky about the colour just to then put it in a case for a year and bulk it up.

It’s ridiculous.

Every year I take out AppleCare+ and every year I put my phone in a case with a glass screen protector. 🙄

I really want to rock my iPhone caseless, but I use it for work so (and this is catastrophising a little) dropping it and rendering it useless on the spot would be an enormous issue for me.

I never bother with buying AppleCare+ to this date I have never had any issues that have required it.

I was worried about going caseless due to the shiny stainless steel but with them switching to titanium it might be a possibility this year 😂! I always purchase Applecare+ and I had to claim last year with the 13 PM as my camera had a malfunction and decided to think it wasn’t a genuine camera and kept prompting me to receive support. When I claimed I paid the fee and received a new iPhone 2 days later, it was worth purchasing for that.
