Never even used the Apple cable, Just found the cable that came with the 14PM still in the box

UR update: For those who have been following, after speaking to their customer service, I **should** be receiving my device back via DPD tomorrow, in the same condition it was shipped in - fingers crossed. A few trustpilot reviews concern me, though. Lets see.
Further update: After receiving no dispatch info for the courier for delivery the following day - which I was told on 3 separate occasions on the phone - I decided to call UR a fourth time around half-an-hour ago. After I was first placed on hold for ten minutes without response, I put the phone down and called again. I was told that, for whatever reason, they had missed the window to organise dispatch with DPD for today, and that the device, unfortunately, would be dispatched tomorrow instead. When I asked for a reason, though apologetic, they were incredibly unspecific.

They've assured me that I will receive dispatch information tomorrow, but they also assured me of that today... For those who have managed to navigate this process with the company - that is, receiving the exact money offered from the original quote when you deliver the device - hassle-free, congratulations. But for me, its been a bit of a stressful nightmare. Experiences will vary but their communication - throughout the process - has been downright unacceptable. If you don't accept their offer, you get messed about.

Disgraceful. 'We aim to have this returned to you as quickly and as stress free' as possible. Bit late for the stress free part. Bit late full stop really.

I hope you get it back soon and it's exactly as you sent it.

Mate, thank you. Its an absolute joke. I also received a delayed cluster of emails from them about the order in a 40 min window earlier today. I see some have also mentioned the lack of communication. They may receive all their correspondence in a cluster, too. Once again, this is just my experience. I'm sure others will have a much smoother one. I just think its important to highlight what **could happen** if they claim to find fault with your device and you choose to reject their offer. I may end up being the exception, not the rule.

I have also just received a confirmation of order i put through on Friday, that's without chasing them.

Hi all
So a quick UR update from me. I sent my iPhone 14 pro max to them by special delivery on Thursday and it arrived on Friday just before 1pm. I’ve had no update from them at all but have just checked my bank account and have been paid £832 from them. I’ve had no email or communication from them at all as yet but I have been paid! So just adding this feedback into the mix. They have paid out with no problem for me but communication has been poor.

Checked your junk folders too? That's odd if they haven't sent anything at all... but happy you got your money!
Definitely worth a look in your junk/spam folder as that’s where my payment emails from UR ended up even though others from UR got through (I’m with Virgin Media too and were in my online spam folder if that helps).
 
Apologies if already asked, but will trade in websites like MM etc reject your iPhone if it’s on beta software? Just packed up my phone but realised although it’s reset, it’s on ios17… the phone itself is pristine and everything works mind!
They took mine no problems last year. Should be fine.
 
My launch day 14PM battery health is at 87% and can't last a full day without a charge. I mainly charge with MagSafe overnight and use Apple chargers or chargers Apple sell that have MagSafe certification. Hopefully will see a better battery with the 15PM. My wife has my 13PM from last year and the battery appears to be much better.
My launch day 14PM is still at 99%. I also charge via a Anker MagSafe overnight.

Anyone tried selling via vendi this year? They gave me the best quote last year but just checked and only £720 for 14PM. Have a £800 locked in with MM so sticking with that.

When did you lock in with that valuation? I have the same but I’m pessimistic about it being honoured after the events of the last few days.

I’m assuming your 14PM is 256GB?

Thanks, I ended up downgrading to ios16 anyway as I didn’t want the hassle of them using it as some sort of excuse to not pay! Shame you can’t downgrade from watchOS though, got a series 6 on watchOS 10 which will only work with iOS 17, so I’m holding off on sending that trade in to MM until iOS 17 gets officially released in a week or two…
