I know this is a phone thread, but I'll ask anyway 😄

If I can hold out and wait till I'm in NYC in November, will they accept a UK purchased watch for trade in?

I should wait and buy the phone in NYC too, but not sure I can hold on that long!
Why would you buy in NYC you would definitely be restricted to eSIM,

Yes, Apple NYC should accept a trade-in from the UK as long as you bought from Apple UK & the serial number checks out etc. Two points to be wary about. Firstly, I don't think Apple US offer international warranty and secondly, you will likely be restricted to eSim only with a US iPhone.

Does anyone have any idea what time pre orders will open today UK time?
I'm working until 8pm and frightened I may miss out of the initial sale and have a long wait time.

All settled in working from home with Twitter, MRF, UberEats on the standby for my Starbucks needs. The wife, kids know that today is not the day to ask me to do anything.
I’m off today anyway.

I’m fitting a new smart lock to our front door.

Either one of these or one of these.

Got a new key barrel coming in 20 mins from Screwfix, as it turns out mine isn’t deep enough and doesn’t protude enough from the door, for the base plate to attach to.

The item in the first link is quite a bit more expensive, so I’m hoping this works. 👀

All Apple products that don’t have to plug in to the mains to work, have an international warranty.

So no Mac Pros, Apple TVs, Mac Minis etc Are covered internationally.

Hi all, not sure this year whether I’ll be able to partake depending on how expensive the phone is!

Who did everyone have the most luck with trade ins last year?

I don’t tend to watch the apple events anymore as find them a bit tiresome but will jump on afterwards. Hopefully they’re still affordable

Excitement is building. Hopefully Apple cut us a bit of slack on the prices after last year.

New o2 sim has arrived, now to attempt to port the number...Even though you give the PAC code during buying the sim online it never seems to work

Just filled out the online number swap form on o2 and entered the pac code again - apparently this will be done in 1 day 'if all details are okay' ..... which no doubt somehow they won't be

Anyone ported a number to o2 and know how long it takes? (I know they say 1 day but are we talking maybe just a couple hours or an actual day?)
