Just in case anyone missed it, leading up to the 1300

I went with an Apple leather case this year. With my iPhone 12 PM, I’ve gone through over 23 cases in the past two years, because I kept on buying third-party ones (stoopid, I know). Whereas every Apple leather case I’ve bought, has outlived the length of time I’ve kept the phone.

Having said that, I do like a bargain, so I’ve picked one of these up to keep as a just in case, em, case.

I’ve ordered a black Pro Max. Didn’t finish work until 2.45, so I couldn’t order when the orders went live.

Date is given as 3-10th October

yes, there seem to be varying levels of service with DPD... apple have the bog standard 'you can't change your slot' service and others use more premium offerings where you can change or move earlier (sometimes with a fee).

they tend to be carriers and other non-apple retailers
I don't mind paying a fee if it means I can get it before I go away on Friday evening for a fortnight!!

Geez that was a rather stressful 27 minutes trying to secure a new iPhone and it was the first time I felt like just giving up. Multitasking between 4 Apple devices with constant crashes, error codes, not excepting my Apple ID and then password, deleting my pre pre selection from last night, saying store pickup wasn’t available if I chose a certain payment method, but then wouldn’t allow you to go back and change it to a home delivery instead and then getting all the way through to the payment page only to be bumped back out and needing to enter all info. from the start again.
I somehow managed to secure my new iPhone Pro Max and still get delivery on the 16th - I had to go and lie down after all that lol

Is anyone else having problem getting credit with Barclays at the Apple store? I couldn't get it last year either. My credit score is 999, I'm a homeowner, virtually no debt, and I have a professional job with a high income. My credit history is never missing a payment and paying my last 2 Apple store payment plan loans off early. There is no reason whatsoever I'd be declined, yet Barclays are refusing to give me a reason.

Is this a common problem or does Apple/Barclays just hate me for some reason? 🤷🏼‍♂️
ordered and canceled three times with Barclays and I am a foreigner, actually just for fun did another one earlier and it went through
I don't think Barclays employ people for real-time checks. Barclay's the Asda of the banks

I wish they did more purple/elderberry watch straps to match. I would’ve got a Solo Loop or Sports Loop if the ordered a solid purple colour. Now Sports Loops are multi coloured (and I dislike the combos they do) and the Solo Loop they don’t do in a purple.

slight aside... is it right that Apple Watch S8 is in space black stainless steel... but only for the Hermes edition??

Ok .. so eventually the order went through then when I clicked on it to check it tells me payment problem (Apple Pay Card has a lower credit limit than the cost of the phone!) ... so now attempting to push through new payment method and, although I’ve approved it three times already on bank app the apple verification page is completely stuck! .. so frustrating!
