Contacts and WhatsApp would be using iCloud for data unless you have that disabled. I don't think Apple have released the iMessages in iCloud it touted in iOS 11. I think you'd lose these if setting and new in this case.

My case arrived with a postal sticker specifically saying no signature required. (Leather one)
Looking at them again I think you might be right! They look a lot neater than the leather covered ones on my 6S case.
Guys there seems to be some confusion over instore pickup and charging of your card.
If you put the phone in your basket and did check out and choose a store for pickup then you will be charged in full before Friday.
If you did instore pickup through the upgrade program then you are not charged or sent any more emails and you physically go into the store on Friday and then either pay in full in cash or do one of the Apple payment plans (either with AppleCare and Upgrade or the plan without).

My Postman came and no signing, just gave me my Screen proctor and Case from Apple 24 tracked no signature sticker.

Yeah thats what i was thinking myself, im in the 2-3 week batch aswell so im hoping for a date change
I also doubt we will see NONE shipped in the UK between 4/11 and 13/11
We don’t seem to have the 4/11 12/11 range or similar other countries have
I think those of us with 2-3 weeks will get bought forward and the estimates on the Apple status are worse case scenarios. Or maybe that is a delusion I am holding on to!

You can find out from the tracking. If it just says "Royal Mail Tracked" then it won't need to be signed for, they just scan on delivery.

That's interesting there are no shipping between 4/11 and 13/11. We can be hopeful there is which means a shift in delivery dates!
It’s mentioned in the FaceID documentation that the neural networks used can be updated through software updates, so hopefully the accuracy and concistency can be refined later on.

its not the most straight forward process. I've a small nodeJS app which hooks into maligun, twilio and pushbullet to do the notifications. i'm running the app out of a Pass cloud provider to save me running it local.
if you're competent with any of that I can try clean up my code to make it more usable when I get a chance. But again, if you're competent with any of that, then you probably know how to right a bit of code to do it anyway

I’m actually learning Java at the moment alongside my degree but sadly know that’s beyond my ability now - thanks though, if I had a computer to hand I’d look all this up
