UK iPhone 4S thread.

My status literally just changed to Shipped, approximately at 9:45am. No shipped confirmation email yet. That's including a bumper, so I consider myself pretty lucky.

Edit: Shipped email notifcation at 10:15am

I really hope my status changes soon, or i genuinely feel like i can kiss goodbye to a Friday delivery.

Unfortunately, i had 3x orders placed for 6x phones. I cancelled the earliest 2x orders (which were as soon as the store opened) as the only one i had a confirmation email for was the 3rd order i placed.

Kind of wishing that i had kept the earliest order now, and cancelled the others.

Yup, which is why picking Friday for a launch day is snooker loopy.

I'm almost certain items shipped via Synchreon in the past have been delivered by UPS who are pretty good at getting items out for same-day delivery rather than waiting for the following day.

They aren't shipping them based on first come, first served. It's pretty random afaik
 
Bad news guys.

Apple are using SYNCREON as their courier. For those who've not had the misfortune of dealing with them SYNCREON (AKA Walsh Western) are probably the worst courier on the planet. Try finding a tracking page on their flash infested, bug ridden web site.

Why would Apple use these bozos?

Why would mine say processing ships ship by does this mean it actually on it way as my previous said processing dispatched I don't mind waiting but I don't understand what is going on with the description I have faith it will turn up tomorrow as I have ordered devices in past and always received on launch day so I don't feel the need to ring apple just to clog the help lines up but can anyone else shed some light on the status I have just had changed to thanks guys

no you have just gone onto the US store. The US store says ships: the UK store says Dispatched. I don't think Apple think americans can handle the longer words. lol joke.

i think you may be veiwing it on the US site as thats how its veiws on there

I am in North shields and mine is sitting at preparing for shipment - white 16gb

It has now changed back to processing dispatched ships by again I don't know why
 
Ah, my order is tracking as the current location being HINCKLEY: GB

Thats so frustrating !! It's only 12miles away from me. I wonder if there is anyway i can arrange pickup ?

What? Your's is the UK, I thought they were coming from China?

How to track your parcel

Mine is now in Hinckley, so it looks good for tomorrow. Not that I'll be in tomorrow to receive it, so I hope the depot is not too far away (and no way am I driving to hinckley!!)

If you want to track the parcel, go to the tracking page on apple's site, it should give you a tracking number, plus a 2nd number under Additional Order Numbers.

Then, go to here: http://www.syncreon.com/ and pick 'My order' from the menu on the left (bottom item). Enter your tracking number. It'll ask for a sales order number or something, that's your additional order number.

Mine was last updated yesterday at 6.42pm, so I guess it's been shipped there and is being held ready for delivery tomorrow.
