UK iPhone 4S thread.

How far is everyone from there local TNT/UPS/UK Mail depot ?
I checked the postcode for my local UK Mail, it started with LE4. My postcode starts with LE8, so i assumed it was only a few miles away and i'd be one of the first few deliveries.
Turns out its LE4 on the other side of Leicester12 miles away, and 300,000 people to potentially deliver too between me and them. Somehow i think i will be towards the end of the day
How far you are from the depot doesn't really make a difference to what time it'll likely be delivered - it's not as if they just have one driver doing all the deliveries from the depot. Some drivers may spend their whole day within 1 or 2 miles of the depot, others might be doing deliveries 20 miles away by 8:30am.
UKMail have my phone... they've had it since around 10 this morning. Spoken to Syncreon and it's arriving between 09:00 and 18:00 tomorrow!!!
This sure beats queueing up at 06:00 in the morning!!!

You can't keep an old tariff unless you buy the phone outright and continue with your old contract.
What tariff do you have? may be able to keep it but may end up having to pay more for the phone!

I'm just outside Belfast but mine was sent via TNT?! How strange! Recon there's any hope for me for tomorrow? If not, I think I'll phone the centre and ask to come pick it up... I'm quite lucky, 10min drive from TNT centre! Don't want it sitting in the warehouse all weekend!!
Mick i reckon you will get yours. Im in Magherafelt and mine is getting shipped by UKmail and they say delivery on the 14th. I can also see on my tracking page with UKmail that it was collected from Syncreon at 9.29am this morning giving it plenty of time to get here.
I also spoke to Syncreon who are based in Limerick i think and they said Ukmail (which i think is Nightline btw in Northern Ireland) will deliver it tomorrow as that is what they are contracted to do by Apple!!!!!

Same email i got (32gb White), Mind you when I called them before I got that email they told me it wouldn't come until the 18th!!

My UKMail status says "At Delivery location" - which i assume to mean at my local depot

Apparently, they're too difficult for people to read :/
Numbers are a logistical nightmare, trying to keep an eye on stock inventory is difficult, especially at this level.
Out For Delivery!!
UPS Tracking states that at 3:45am my phone is in London and has been sent out for delivery! I'm assuming that meant put on a van ready for delivery first thing tomorrow - YEY!
