UK iPhone 4S thread.

My 4S arrived at around 11am this morning 
UPS SMS alert is *way* faster and more accurate than the website, it let me know that it was out for delivery at around 9:30am, and that it'd been signed for only a couple of minutes after the delivery was made (I got it delivered to my office, so the postal people there signed for it), I walked down to collect it and they were most impressed that I knew about it so quickly

Keep the hope, mine just arrived 3 mns ago and I know from past experiences that UkMail will deliver as late as 8pm.
I had several deliveries from them at 19:59:59 lol
Strange delivery!!!
I ordered on pre-order through Apple website and immediately received notification of order from UPS. I was anticipating delivery today but since I am away on holiday at the moment my son who is still at home said he would be home most of the day to take the delivery, unfortunately he had to go out and the delivery was attempted whilst he was out. The strange thing; there were TWO attempted deliveries, one from UPS as was expected and one from TNT, my son assures me that on the attempted delivery notes that were left both cite Apple as the sender. I am at a loss as to understanding what the TNT item could be as I haven't ordered anything else from Apple. The thing is on speaking with both UPS and TNT they won't let anyone else other than the addressee collect so I've got to wait until I return home early next week until I find out what the TNT package is, could it be a second iPhone? Has anybody else experienced anything similar?

Just received an email from Apple telling me how sorry they are about the fact that my iPhone will not be delivered today, and instead, will be delivered on Saturday (I was on UKMail).
BUT, my iPhone was delivered at 2:30 today already I suppose they're giving me an extra iPhone .

I must say I think the screen looks better, than my iPhone4 tbh. Side by side, the 4S seems a bit softer and clearer and brighter (despite the brightness being set the same)

you dont need one on the front.
i have had my iPhone 4 for 15months without one and not a single scratch, which is very good in my working environment
How did you manage that?
I ordered a 32Gb and a 64Gb, the order for the 64Gb get duplicated and despite their 'limit of 2 per customer', all of them got dispatched.
Did anyone else have a problem with activating their iPhone? I've had to restore mine... Seriously pissed.

. I was like when I touched the screen before applying the protectors then seeing that no finger marks or anything were left. Very impressed lol. My old iPod touch 2G was not like that lol.So it seems UPS won't let me pick up until at least one attempted delivery...fooking cheers!!
