Loving mine so far, really feels like a new phone. Siri works fairly nicely.

I must say I think the screen looks better, than my iPhone4 tbh. Side by side, the 4S seems a bit softer and clearer and brighter (despite the brightness being set the same)

IMO the 4S has a warmer tone than the 4

mine came at 10.20 am lol
but i have no service!
still waiting for three to activate my micro sim (transfer my number to the micro sim)
having not had the iPhone 4, the feel of it is great. just wish i could actually use it properly

Slowly going insane.
7pm, still no sign of courier. Stuck in the office on my own, waiting and waiting.
Fantastic friday night, not!

So it seems UPS won't let me pick up until at least one attempted delivery...fooking cheers!!

Ah I give up...Monday it is

Oh man, that is a right sickener. I am down in Donegal for the weekend, checked the UPS site and saw that my phone is at Mallusk. I was thinking that if I'd been at home, I could have nipped down the road and got it but you have at least cheered me up by removing that notion.

Time to chill, watch a little rugby, drink a few pints and wait to welcome Siri on Monday!

:)

For some reason my brother, who ordered a White 32GB, hasn't gotten his yet, lives 30 mins away from me. I got mine at 10 o'clock this morning.

rang 3, got to wait over 24 hours for my sim to activate!
not an happy bunny!

anyone else who as got the iPhone 4s today, and using a micro sim for the first time, preferably moving from another phone with an original size sim. having any issues?

got to say Siri is crap!
half the things you ask it, are US only

Picked up my 32GB black 4S today from the Glasgow Buchanan Street Apple store nice and early! Love it! Siri is alright, I don't see myself using it much for now.

I was in and out the Apple store very quickly! The Apple employee was taking lots of photos of me and my "Steve J:apple:bs: 1955 - 2011" t-shirt as well!

Yep. Got my O2 sim today the fools sent me a regular sim when I asked for micro! So got to wait up to 24 hours for the number to transfer to the micro one. Will try in a bit to see if the normal sized one has stopped working.

Picked up my 32Gb white after queuing for an hour at SouthGate, feels so much better than my iPhone 4 and I can't understand why! Screen is definitely better than my 4 too, cooler tones

Well its gone past 8pm and still no sign of UK Mail or whoever is delivering me my iPhone!

My only hope is because I live quite close to the depot - around 2/3 miles away, its the VERY last iPhone to be delivered, and their call centre is closed too so I cant even call them!

Ah well - still holding out to become the last official person to recieve their iPhone on launch day....

I'm in E.London by the way!

UPS came 1pm but I was out... Redelivery Monday.

It's sitting in a depot in Croydon over the weekend. :(

Yeah I'm in the same situation with O2, I tried to swap my number a second time using their website and they said they were on it, so I'm satisfied they'll get round to it :) The carriers will all be having a busy day so it's understandable, although after waiting for the phone it's a bit annoying to have another wait to use it.

I upgraded from a 3GS on 3 to a 64GB 4S on 3 today so have been through the microsim thing...

I did the three.co.uk/microsim request at midday and the phone became active at 4:30pm ish. I did tweet @threeuk to see how long it usually takes (ironically just before it all activated) and they said it was usually instant and to tweet @threeuksupport if I had problems :)

HTH

Ah are you using the simswap tool as well? I wish there was a way to check it lol. I assume at some point (within 24 hours after requesting it) your old sim will just lose reception and not work? Then the new one will power my iPhone, finally :D.

On my package it says it was shipped by syncreon, but then it was given to UPS, it looks like everyone's was shipped with syncreon and then given to UPS/TNT/UK Mail when it got onto the mainland

Has anyone tried to put screen protectors on the white one... It's so hard. I can't even tell where I'm placing it half the time.

On a positive note you can't tell air bubbles are there. They just blend in! (unless they're on the screen).

So true! Messed up all the 3 films I had cos I just couldn't get a fit. Not that it matters though, since mine is going back soon...came with two scratches on the screen.

*sigh*
