Can you UK people check out whether your phone rattles if you tap on the back towards the top of the phone? (near the camera)?
Mine does, kinda annoying but apparently nothing to worry about, there's a thread or two about it happening for a lot of people and just want to see if other UKers have the same thing.

my order from apple is still saying processing. delivery date is still 17th - 24th of oct, but they've still not taken the money out of my account! i may be over reacting but it doesn't sound right to me....

any one else in the same position?

They didn't charge me for both my phones until 2 days after I'd received them

I got bored of the waiting guys... I bought an white 16gb iPhone 4S on ebay yesterday and it arrived this morning.

It is locked to O2 but I am on O2 for another 1 and a half anyway.
It cost £560 which I didn't think was too bad considering I don't know when I would get one from Apple. Also, O2 unlock so I will be able to resell.


It is beautiful

I really hope Apple get the stock issue sorted quickly.

Mine does - its the + volume button on mine. Already rung apple who said refund/replace not a problem.

Because of the stock shortages, I'll be getting a refund and buying from a network with stock and unlocking!

Ah let us know what the one you buy now is like then. It seems most peoples are like it so might not change lol. I don't think mine's any of the buttons because when I hold them all still it still does it.

Yeah to be honest, if I was coming from a 3gs or another phone, I wouldn't have noticed, but I know my i4 didn't do it!

It may well be the same for them all - but I want to swap for a white anyway!

Im going to swing by the Apple store and check if the displays do. If not, maybe i will ask for a new one.

I have the option of either waiting for reservations tonight, OR buying on voda PAYG (there is SOME stock).

I don't know whether to wait with apple, or go voda?

Anyone got any update when 4s is becoming available for reservation? This 9pm thing is really getting tedious.

Apple do not accept reservations for iPhones that aren't physically in their stores. They're only available for reservation after there's been a delivery and some of that delivery remains unsold when the store closes at the end of the day.

The reason for the 9pm thing is it takes a while to collate numbers nationally once the stores are shut.

The next day, if any reserved iPhone is not collected, it goes back on the list and becomes available for reservation again that evening.

At least, that's how the iPad2 system worked earlier this year. I asked about it when I picked mine up.

There are literally hundreds of people complaining that voda have lied to them, the 4s isn't in stock and it's going to take weeks.
Despite them saying 'in stock', I think it's probably a bit of BS.

I'm also getting sick of the reservations.

Ordered black 64g on 11/10, original delivery window was 24 to 31/10 but that has today been brought forwrad to 18 to 25/10 - currently still showing as processing items.

Very happy about that, lost iphone 4 on holiday almost two weeks ago and been having massive withdrawal symptoms.

Just received a call from Apple Customer Services about some 'humorous' feedback I left - I mean really, what were all those questions about buying an Apple product for someone elsewhere in Europe - who said that she thought my phone may be dispatched tomorrow.
