Ta for the reply. I presume your new replaced iPhone is getting a decent battery life? Did you buy in store or online too btw?

Cheers.

Bought in store on release day, replacement iPhone is just as bad, but has a very similar serial number to the last (maybe a batch problem?) or it could just be a setting which is causing the speedy drain :S

Reserved my white iPhone 16GB

Weird.. my desktop is showing no results but my mac is lol.. White 32gb + 64gb left. I think there was black 32+64 as well. White 16gb gone now.

Vodafone haven't charged me to unlock, but then again, they claim they're gonna send me an 'unlock code' within 48hrs.

So I'll believe it when I see the Unlock message on iTunes! :D
Are on PAYG? They take the payment from your airtime balance allegedly.

Let me look for the link ...

Thanks for the info. I've got my fingers crossed that it's an iOS 5 issue, or at least a combination of iOS 5 and the new 4s hardware... would like to see this patched in a software update.

Above all, as per usual with Apple, it's ridiculously annoying that they haven't even publicly acknowledged this issue.

I'm unbelievably happy with Three! 9mbps and free truly unlimited tethering?! Yes please.

No I upgraded from a sim only deal to a iPhone 12 month contract. Supposedly they won't unlock until out of contract, but they don't seem to be bothering with that at the moment.

About what time did you go to the reserve page?

Ahhh I just signed up and ordered another one through Quidco :D.

I'll cancel the other one though as I don't quite fancy ending up with 2 iPhone 4S's ;)

x2 for the Reserve system, the first night it went live I could see 16GB Black in a store near me but I could never get beyond confirming the reservation....

You should get quidco twice even if u cancelled an order the quidco money sill comes through

According to my computer time, 8:55.. though till 9:05 my desktop (Windows) PC still said there wasn't any stock.

It was like the website was going:
-Check operating system
-MAC OS?
If true= Allow reserve function
If false = Deny reserve function
:p

It doesn't work like that in my experience. If you cancel an order the cash back will be declined ... takes a long time to update on the system though.

Can anyone confirm that vodafone and/or O2 will unlock a PAYG iPhone 4s, without having to stay with them for so many months, etc?

See my post (4863 above) for the Vodafone link. They charge £20 in the first 12 months, free thereafter.

o2 are only selling contract phones to existing customers no PAYG handsets for now.

Best option for sim only is the Apple Store direct if you're going to use another operator.

Best deal on sim only seems to be 3.5% iPhone 4s cash back offer http://www.quidco.com/user/123570/32231/apple-store

i am glad somebody is happy with Three. I am really pissed at them at the moment. Ordered a 32G White last week for delivery today. Monday they sent me an email saying there is something wrong with my Credit card and to call them. i eventually contacted them after a lot of difficulty and they said the email was a mistake there is nothing wrong with the card and the phone would be delivered Wednesday.

Needless to say no phone turned up today and no email to say when its coming. Tried contacting them but its just impossible. Eventually got someone in the sales department who said he cannot help with online orders.

A1 customer service. If it does not turn up tomorrow I am cancelling.
