Ordered iPhone 4S 32GB White @ 10:30am on the 7th....

Still 'Processing Items' - Delivers 18 Oct, 2011 - 25 Oct, 2011

I ordered on the evening of the 10th.

White iPhone 4S 16GB
Processing Items Dispatched: 1 - 2 Weeks Delivers 18 Oct, 2011 - 25 Oct, 2011

It's frustrating enough for me, ten days since I ordered and the status hasn't changed from 'Processing Items'. The date did change and was brought forward slightly, but yeah, annoying enough for me, so I totally sympathise with you guys who placed orders on the 7th. For it to be nearly two weeks since ordering and for there to be no significant status changes on your orders must be frustrating. Hang in there!

I'm getting mad now I really do not have the patience to keep waiting.

Processing Items Dispatched: 1 - 2 Weeks Delivers 20 Oct, 2011 - 27 Oct, 2011

I just want my iPhone! :apple:

It's crazy how people who ordered on the 7th have shipping estimates that are only a few days earlier than mine, when I ordered last night.

I feel for you guys.

Have to say, I am honestly dumbstruck at how poorly Apple appear to have handled all of this. Totally feel the pain all you guys are going through, I'd be livid. So much for valueing your loyal customers.

I had an order placed early on the 7th, which said would be dispatched on the 14th. I then cancelled this order on the 9th as I decided I wanted white instead of black. Placed a new order for the white one, but was coming up as the end of the month, so I just went and queued on the 14th and bought one in-store instead, and then cancelled my online order. So glad I did, as with my level of patience, I'd have been unbearable to live with if I were being messed about like this.

Certainly puts me off pre-ordering the next phone from them I have to say, if this is the treatment you get.

Agreed, I think this year has been particularly poor for Apple. The whole reservation thing has been horrific.

This whole reservation thing is just the same as the iPad 2 was.

A complete joke.

So glad I ordered mine from O2, ordered on 14th, delivered on 17th.

Simples, :):)

I don't remember the iPad2 having the same demand as the 4s, so if they messed that up, I can't imagine how they're coping with the 4s.

Every night the reservation system would crash or just continually say no stock, went on for a couple of weeks, demand was probably less so who knows how long this will go on for..

On a side note still have a 64GB black on O2 spare.:):)

Why? It's the same at every product launch. I mean, it's ridiculous, and Apple should get their act together, but it's not surprising considering what's gone on before.

Good job I bit the bullet and ordered online then.

I've just talked to Apple, and they said that my iPhone will ship in the next 24h.

Ordered on 11th.

Well I finally broke down and ordered iPhone from Vodafone website. They claim it'll be here in 2-4 days, lets hope they aren't lying..

I wasn't sure about that estimate either, so I went for a Vodafone 4S on eBay. I paid the retail price, though, and it should be arriving tomorrow!

My white 64gb 4S showed up today, courtesy of Tesco Mobile. I pre-registered the day they started taking customer details, received my text on Sunday, ordered Monday morning and it's now sitting pretty on my desk.

Overall very happy (though I wish they sent it out in a proper box, my iPhone was in a plastic wrapper inside a huge bubble wrap lined envelope

True point, it seems Apple are unable to learn (or simply don't care) from their past misdoings.

Other news, anyone know whether I can buy a 4S directly from a vodafone store? I already have a SIM from vodafone, all I need is the handset.

I spoke to customer service and they seem to think that I can, although the man I spoke didn't seem to be the most switched on rep I've spoken to...

Any replies are welcome and very much appreciated. :)

Surprised to hear that - I pre-registered with Tesco within a few hours of them going online (think my registration# was ~11K) and ordered on Sunday. Delivery failed yesterday, so I picked it up from the post office this morning. It's as yet unopened, but it's in the actual box - all sealed.

Hi guys,

(sorry for my english :p)

I'm writing here, trying to understand, wich is the situation of the iphone 4s avaibility in UK.

For UK avaibility, I mean in the apple store of the country.

The only way i have to see it, is the same I'm using for France & Germany: looking about the avaibility, every night (9.00 pm) from the website on the "Reseve and Pickup" service.
I'm not sure It is a valid method, but it could be indicative.

The problem is that in the whole UK, every night I can't see any item available, and I don't understand the reason of that.

Infact, in FR and DE every night you have the possibility to find something!
You have to be very fast, but you have the chance to place your order.
Have you ever try to see it? Try tonight at 20.55 (19.55 time in London)
http://www.apple.com/fr/retail/iphone/
http://www.apple.com/de/retail/iphone/

In UK isn't possibile. Why?

Is the Reserve and Pickup not available in UK yet?
Don't ALL (from North to south) the UK shops, have anything available at the end of the day?
Do they sell all the items every day?
For someone that live in London or in one of the city where is present an aple store, How is it the situation in the stores?
They receive iphones every day?

Thanks to everybody who can help me understanding my questions. :)

I'm inerested, cause I'll be in London the last week of November, and I hope to find an IPhone :D

The thing is, we all moan and groan about waiting (yes i am waiting patiently.....well trying) but we still get the damn phone. I look at the last date of possible delivery as the actual date and if it gets here earlier than that then great!

If you cant wait i suggest you go to android......they always have phones availabe for next day delivery! ;)
