No it's for the 4S: "Pre-order the iPhone 4S today + £109 cashback"

Im tired and completely off my game this evening. :D

Only looked at this bit on the side menu:

£109for iPhone 4s on the One Plan. Pre Order today

Didnt notice the big section at the top. That works out well then considering the Three handset prices are always so competitive. Literally works out to a free handset.

3 aren't offering the 16GB online (at the moment) however. But it's a good deal for the 32GB version.

(35 x 24) + 189 = £1029
1029 - 109 = £920
920 - 599 = £321
321 / 24 = £13.38

So practically you're paying £13.38 each month for 2000 minutes, 5000 texts, and truly unlimited data with tethering allowed. :eek: I know you're being locked into a 2 year contract but this seems like by far the best way of getting the phone and a decent plan.

Those O2 tariffs don't include data though, you have to add that on afterwards. And considering it's £10 for 1GB of data I think those tariffs suck to be fair.

For a 12 month contract they are not bad. Voda is £1 per mth cheaper but an extra £90 for the handset. Yes its 750MB on Voda over 500MB on O2, but even if you go for the 1GB with O2 it is still £30 cheaper over the year.

----------

can't believe the new o2 pricing nice in terms of hand set charges crap in terms of data

I will probably opt for the 64GB for £52 a month, at either £159 for 18 mth or £209 for 12 mth! :D

Thanks for the quick maths this late on a Friday :cool:

I'm seriously considering that option but I heard 3's customer service is somewhere between rubbish and non-existent - not that Orange standard contract support is much better but I have one of my phones on a business contract and that support is quite good.

Well considering the price of the contract I don't think I can complain if their CS is so crap. :p

You wont get a handset for £140 on a 12 month, O2 dont even do 12 month on iPhone tarriffs. Now, the only way you can currently get an iPhone 4 for £140 on 24 months is by paying for a £47 contract. Expensive. Or £52 for 18 months. Ouch.

O2 offer 12 month for existing customers, yeah £52 per month is pricey but works out at;

32GB 4S
£52 x 12 = £624
Handset = £139.99
TOTAL = £763.99

SIM FREE = £599.99

That just leaves £164, which works out at £13.67 a month, 64GB total is £833.99, with an average monthly spend of £11.16 once you take sim free cost into equation, which is not bad for 1200 mins, unlimited text and 500MB data which is enough for me as I have wifi at home and work. :D

Hi,

I am going to do my fast track upgrade with O2 and just want an idea to what time the queue starts to build outside O2 shop. I know it will be different depending on store location, but just looking for rough idea!

Anyone on here who was in front 10? If so what time did you arrive before store opening?

I am tempted to just go to Apple store but as I have to pay fast track fee there and then, I'm a little hesitant to do it in Apple store as although they have gateway system, I'm not entirely convinced that there won't be any issues processing payment, then upgrading! :D

Anyone here who did this last year on launch day?

This is also what i'm doing - u[graded to '4' in June '10 - will fast-track my 4s upgrade also. When is o2 offering this, next friday also??

What time you planning on heading down to your store

What time you planning on heading down to your store

i was third in line last year in the pre order/reserve que at the bullring apple store, and the standard que was huge at 6am! i went past the 02 store when i was heading home, and the que for that was also massive, so i would get there early if i was you! but then again will the demand be as high this year for the 4s as it was 4?????

Dropped £599 (+£8 for the weird micro USB adapter, so £607!) 32gb, white. Can't wait. Delivery Status says 21 days, boo.

How do you get that? Is that part of the Apple ordering App? Can I use it to check the status of a current order?

The best deal is to buy the handset unlocked and jump onto a SIM-only tariff. That way you have a high-value unlocked iPhone to sell in a year's time, no contract over your head and get better value from your tariff.

I have read that a couple of times, but yet to see the word Free

It says: "The adapter costs £8 or €9 and should also be included in the iPhone 4S when it ships later this month."

Interestingly, if as I am planning, use the One Plan from 3 (£25/month - rolling contract) with my sim free 4S the total cost will be the same as the buying the 4s with their 24 month contract at £35/month. Although with the quidco of £109 the latter is cheaper, the other deal would allow you to change network whenever you wanted so go for whatever deal is best for you I guess.

So all of the O2 contracts are with a subsidised Phone? Does this mean the current iPhone 4 sim only contract will apply for the 4S too?
