Apple reserved money on my credit card, but now the reserved amount has gone. Confused!?

glad to hear it.. I ordered mine with 3 on Sunday over the phone and the rep also told me it'll be with me this Friday .. I sold my old IP4 so I hope I get the shipping notification tomorrow so I can actually ship it
I should have asked will an O2 contracted sim work in a Tesco iPhone 4s?

IF people are getting shipments from other sources, and people are going into Apple stores and buying iPhones then some people who have preordered will complain if they don't get theirs on launch date.
That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying that they are right to complain. I'm not saying that anyone is guaranteed to be able to buy one from the Apple store. If you think that I am saying anything else then I'm afraid that is just in your head and there's nothing I can do about that.

Are you sure? My wife's Tesco mobile phone (not an iPhone) is locked to Tesco and won't work with an O2 or giffgaff SIM, even though they are all O2.
Ordered mine direct from Apple online at 9:04 on onsale day.
Had them money debited instantly out of my account, but now its gone back into the bank and still not has come out again Items still says processing on my order.

As others have said, this is just a check to make sure you have the funds at the time of purchase. The bank will reissue this money after a few days, then the actual debit will be made when the phone ships.Ordered mine direct from Apple online at 9:04 on onsale day.

Yep, your money will be held for 3 days then released, then it will be taken again, most likely tomorrow. Then your (and everyone elses) orders will be updated!
