Vodafone users in the UK who pre-ordered have started receiving text messages this afternoon confirming Friday delivery.

Also, What are Apple going to sell in store on Friday, if they're not already here? That would be cutting it WAY too fine.

I agree, I'm pretty sure they will deliver on Friday. The reps on the phone have no idea. Apple generally get this sort of things right. They ship overnight in the UK, and I'm pretty sure they will do the same to tomorrow. Now I just hope the courier doesn't come when I'm doing the school run, that would be typical!.

It is the couriers and school runs that could be the banana skin, for sure!!

woohoo movement!! Mines still at processing (ordered 5 mins after it came up) but at least we have a change!!

*waits for 100 other posts saying there status has changed* lol
 
ok just been on the phone again to apple I ordered 2 64gbs at 8.40 am and had order confirmation by 9.30 am and have been told by CS we are very sorry but you won't get your order by the 14th!!!!!! offered me £70 credit though!!
really pissed off.
 
So those who ordered as soon as the store went live have now dispatched.

My order confirmation came through at 12:41 and it is still processing.

Isn't all this anticipation fun? :)

£70 credit for a 2 day delay! you should be chuffed!
 
Looks like my day off on Friday won't be in vain; my status too has changed within the last 10 minutes.

I placed my order at 0846 and got my confirmation e-mail at 0952 on 7th.
 
Can people post the times which they got their confirmation email when their shipping status changes please
