Of course delivery is not guaranteed for launch date, but that is the understanding and reasonable expectation of all of those with years of experience of Apple, and Apple know it.
The likelihood is that the vast majority of early pre-orders will be delivered on Friday.
If, for some reason that doesn't happen, it is not the end of the world, but Apple will not look good particularly when carriers such as Orange, Vodafone and Three manage to fulfil customer expectations.
Apple will not let down their most loyal customers without very good reason, believe me.
Apple will not look good particularly when carriers are shipping THEIR product? hmmm. So Apple have given consumers a number of different options to get hold of their new product and that in itself will make THEM look bad? is it just me or did that just not make sense?!
So what if the carriers ship/deliver before Apple. It's not the big deal that some people make it out to be. It's cetainly not going to make Apple look bad or affect their reputation. Honestly I can't believe how pathetic it is that people are moaning and whining about this subject. People are assuming what they want to believe is right and not what is right in reality.
