What's the trick that US people are using to track their shipment while it's on 'preparing for shipment'

Apparently it won't work for international orders :-(
 
looks like its just the 16gb's shipping anybody got a 32gb an received a dispatch notification?

People are inputting their apple store order number, without the last two digits, into the tracking box at ups.com.

Doesn't work for UK orders. I've just tried it.

Just changed to Preparing for Shipment :):):):):)

Ordered as soon as the AppleStore came online. Confirmation email from Apple 9:19 (7 Oct). 64GB iP4S Black

Now let's see where they start tracking. Let's hope it's not China :eek:
 
My order was placed at 08:40 and the email came through at 09:19. I'm still on preparing items. It's a white 16GB model.

Only seen mention of black shipping so far. Any white ones moved on?

I ordered the same phone around the same time - still on 'Processing'.....

EDIT: just seen the post above so now bit more optimistic about the white ones!
 
16Gb Black, still processing - To be fair i ordered at 10:30am (Forgot to wake up) so i wouldn't be surprised if mine doesn't change status until tomorrow.
 
Preparing for shipment

Ordered at 0910 on Friday, email confirmation at 0951 32GB black and just went to " Preparing for Shipment " :)
 
I just rang Apple and the lady said that my iPhone will leave Apple on the 14th so it will probably be Monday when I recieve mine. I ordered mine as soon as the site loaded and got my email confirmation about an hour and a half later.

I'm stuck on:

Processing Items Dispatched: Ships by October 14th.

I forgot to mention that I'm ordering a White 32gb iPhone.
 
Black 32GB preparing for shipment.

Ordered at around 08:50, confirmation email sent at 09:51.

Happy bunny.
 
iphone 4s pre order uk

hi I am new to this forum, but im sure we are all waiting for iphone 4s my order status still says: dispatched: ships by october 14.. the thing is they took the money straight away then just today they put it back?? omg!! im soo soo worried does anybody here had the same experience... please enlighten me I would really appreciate it
