Black 16Gb - Still Processing

Ordered about 10:40am, received confirmation at 1:10pm.

Order num W2339XXXXX

Looks like the order number is completely random then, and I can't see what criteria Apple are using to processing orders :confused:
 
I put my order in at 11:15am on the 7th, but I didn't get the confirmation though until Tuesday 11th at 8:22am.

Meh, who knows - mine is a 64GB white, still on the processing stage for what it's worth..

Order number starts with W21325****

Almost seems asif they've just gone "This lot got there orders in for release date delivery, process them in whatever order"

My 16Gb white has just changed (literally a few seconds ago) to Preparing for Shipment.

Ordered at 8:43am, confirmation e-mail at 21:10pm order # W266*

Hang in there guys, they're still processing them :D
 
MAybe alphabetically, maybe grouped, maybe split into 20 chronologically, who knows; then a pile given to each worker or team.

White 16GB

Dont have the details of times etc but I dont think it matters, Apple are processing them so I dont think there anything to worry about :)

Just this second clicked to preparing for shipment ..... i think we are all going to get them 14th....... so don't worry folks it WILL happen soon ..
 
Just logged on to the store and mine's preparing for shipment.
Haven't checked since around 5pm so couldn't say when it changed status.
I ordered mine last Friday at around 8.15am, got the confirmation email soon after. 32gb Black.

Apple's order numbers are random to some extent.
I believe there was a post on this site about it quite some time ago (at least a year ago I think), because people were trying to track how many of a launch item were sold/preordered and it couldn't be done by order numbers because of the random aspect.

so it looks like they have moved on to White 16gb, hopefully 32gb won't be too far behind :)

edit:and as if by magic it becomes preparing for shipment :D:D:D:D:D
