I just received my Vodafone confirmation email, but it does not say unlimited calls or 2 gb mobile internet. what gives?

I have a sim only deal with vodafone - just purchased the 32gb version but won't get delivered until October, but it's cool - something to look forward to!

Just rang Vodafone and they are sending a nano sim in 48 hours so if any of you are wondering, Vodafone had 33000 nano sims left so there should be plenty of stock!

Stealing this from another forum where I asked about Orange's nano-sim replacements...

According to http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/iphone/ UK Apple stores stock SIM cards, primarily to sign up customers to UK mobile networks. I phoned two Apple stores near me to find out more. It turns out that they do SIM swaps quite regularly, usually without charge. However, they can't give out any nano-SIMs until Friday.

It reflects very well on Apple and very badly on Orange that Apple has to carry out Orange's customer service for them. This is a complete shambles by Orange.

Three sure will be making a lot of money out of SIM deals with this iPhone launch.

I must say they've been very impressive - being the only carrier with their act together on nano SIMs, and offering amazing deals with unlimited data. Perfect.

Every time I call/chat to Vodafone they insure me that they don't have any stock and that I can order one on the 22nd... Not sure who is lying.

Anyone ordering the iPhone 5 via Orange, T-Mobile or Three, remember to go via www.quidco.com first.

You'll get £45 cashback for Orange/T-Mobile and £95 cashback for 3.

Whilst I'm a little annoyed I missed out on £45, I never like going through Quidco when doing an Apple pre-order. It always feels so frantic with websites going offline (as Orange did) that I prefer just to order the thing and take the hit.

I just preordered my 16gb iPhone 5 in black from car phone warehouse.

£109 for the phone then £36 a month on T Mobile "Full Monty Plan".

Car phone warehouse promised it will be in store on Friday morning and they will be opening early.

Their communication isn't great because I rang them this morning and they told me what you just said. Having to deal with Vodafone regularly at work I know you get a different answer every time you ring, so try ringing again!

On a side note - I love how this thread is owning all the americans' threads on this forum.

yeah, never understood why that always happened after launches. I always though a heck more yanks where on macrumors...

Three telephone orders - Email confirmation?

Hi,

Anyone who ordered via three over the phone....

Have you received any confirmation emails or order tracking info?

I don't want to wait til Thursday (when I should get delivery text info) to find something has gone wrong.

Thanks

I check it more than a few :p

I find it strange how I instantly don't care about iOS 6 release next week, I just want friday to be here!

I've been running it for a while now, still a few bugs even with the GM. I think it's fair to say I want my phone NOW!

Yesterday I won a new iPad, which I should be elated about, but I'm more excited about next Friday!
