Over the past 4 daysive really noticed O2 ain't interested in taking your call if your thinking of leaving or wanting your PAC in case you decide to leave.

I finally got through to get mine at 8.15 this morning. Emma (My wife) was on hold for 45 mins on 6 different occasions and the one time she did get someone they hung up on her.

If that's not shocking customer service. I don't know what is.

Is Ultra Crystal the one I want if I want to get the most of the Retina display?

And are they the 'thick' protectors that are really stiff and easy to apply? (no homo)

Yeah Ultra Crystal for the best Retina Experience!

Hmmm no, a thin plastic protector but not a wet apply protector, I usualy go for power support which use the same type of protector but as they have reservations in the US only over than mobilefun, I went for quick and easy. SGP ultracrystal does always get good reviews so can't complain.

If you wan't a hard thick screen protector, go for the glas.t also available on the SGP Ebay store.

I've tried too. I'm disabled and told them how difficult it was for me to get to a store. They didn't give a chuff and said they wouldn't be sending me one. Even though a few nights ago they told me one was 'on it's way'!!

Do you want me to try get you one and send it to you mate?

Dave

Just noticed this on the Everything Everywhere site, for Orange and T-Mobile users who will be thinking about moving to EE 4G:

If Orange and T-Mobile iPhone 5 customers want to upgrade to the new superfast EE 4G service when it launches in the coming weeks – or at any point in their existing contract- then the process will be made as simple as possible. If their new EE plan is the same term and price per month or more than their existing plan, the move will be at no additional cost.

I had a completely different experience.
I called up O2 this afternoon and the guy was more than helpful in giving me my PAC code. After a few security questions it was mine. The whole thing took about 3 minutes. I guess it depends who you get.

He also said that a lot of O2 customers had been leaving for other networks like Three due to the nano sim problem.

----------

O2 nano sims in store from tomorrow, try following @o2 on twitter....

Thanks, I've been checking their Twitter feed but for O2 it's too little too late for me.

So when you phoned 202 from your phone. Did you just follow the directions to the "if your thinking of leaving us?" press 2 for example?

Doesn't matter what they say on twitter or on the website, the correct info hasn't been/wasn't being passed to the stores.

You yourself said they'd be available tomorrow, but according to twitter and the O2 iPhone 5 FAQ they should have been available today.

They were available in some stores, some had them but wouldn't give them out and some said they didn't have any and wouldn't get them until [pick random day] or day of launch. Some stores didn't even know what a nano sim was.

It appears they've finally woke up and are scurrying to get it sorted, with staff working late to sort their own mess out.

Either way an appalling customer service caused by apparent appalling corporate communications.

3 are loving it, as those who've had enough had all seen how well 3 handled exactly the same situation and many have switched.

You can report them to Ofcom, they put strict rules in place to ensure that Networks give PACs out straight when asked for.

http://ask.ofcom.org.uk/help/telephone/refuse_PAC

Thats why they now have to provide it to you straight away over the phone or by text rather than making you wait for it to be posted out.

Powersupport have always been slow to release new films. Was gonna get one from Mobilefun but 2-3 week wait and £18 put me off.

That is so great of you, thank you. But in a round about way I've found out I can get a better deal anyway as I'm on a rolling contract I'm cancelling and switching to Vodafone. Spoke to one of their advisors today and they're sending one out. But seriously, thank you!! Very kind!

Been with O2 for over 10 years.....

The way they fobbed me off on the phone when i asked about nano sims wasn't good service at all. A company as big as that should be able to allocate a nano sim to each contract they provide.

If EE are doing decent sim only deals then they will get my custom instantly.

Thanks mate. Ultra Crystal ordered! Knowing my luck I'll be stuck with this on Friday and no iPhone to put it on!

I actually used the landline equivalent but yes, I pressed the button that said about leaving O2. I phoned at about 1:00pm so maybe they were less busy then.

Yeah powersupport is expensive, but my iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s only ever had to use one of their screen protectors each for their whole lifetime, also their customer service is great.

Cheers. I'll tell Emma to try the landline equivalent. Hope she gets it before carrier Armageddon on Friday.

No worries

I'm sure Three really are loving it. I also left O2 after 5 years a couple of days ago to Three who are doing fantastic SIM only deals. I have requested my PAC and when my iPhone arrives in a couple of weeks I shall be setting up my new Three sim and O2 will lose out on my custom just because they can't offer unlimited 3G.

order placed at 8:17 and preparing for shipment with delivery on 21/9.

I would like to change the delivery address is it risky to do so and cause the delivery date to slip?
