order placed at 8:17 and preparing for shipment with delivery on 21/9.
I would like to change the delivery address is it risky to do so and cause the delivery date to slip?
I'm not sure you can actually edit your delivery address now it's preparing for shipment, sorry!
My iPhone 5 is due to arrive in '2-3 weeks'. That's around the 4th October. I've been with O2 for 5 years but I want to switch to Three and get their SIM only deal (the £12.90 one). As I don't know when my iPhone is arriving should I order my SIM around the 28th? When I'm ordering it online, does my 1 month start when I've paid for it online or when I put it in my phone and activate it? Just trying to work out the best thing to do. I already have my PAC code ready to use but just playing a waiting game with the iPhone really.

I'm with Santander and the funds haven't been physically taken yet, it has been reserved I think as the available funds is a lot less.

If you pre-ordered an*iPhone 5 directly through Apple, the order status page probably only lists a cryptic Preparing for shipment message. But the Houston Chronicles Dwight Silverman has a handy trick to possibly see if your new handset has already shipped.
First off, Apple will use both UPS and FedEx for deliveries Friday. This method will only give you a tracking number if your shipment is coming via UPS.
To find out, head on over to UPS website here. On the left hand side of the page choose Track by Reference. In the first box, Shipment Reference, you need to enter a phone number either the one associated with your iPhone or your billing address. Choose your destination country and then enter your zip or postal code.
If youre lucky, like our own Jamie Young, you might get a tracking number and where exactly your iPhone is now. Which might make waiting for Friday to come even that much easier.
If youre lucky, this is what youll see after entering all of the information.
And if you actually see a tracking number by this method, consider yourself fortunate. Because I was moving two lines of service away from AT&T, I had to place my pre-order directly through the Verizon site. As of a few minutes ago, even though I received a confirmation email early Friday morning, Verizon has no apparent record of my order. My fingers are crossed that something will show up soon.

So I ordered online on Friday morning round 8.30 am one black and one white phone in 32gb. I also ordered two lightning cables. My shipping date says 2-8th October. I can't quite understand why my order would have such a delay on it. Does anyone know if the cables could be causing this? Cheers.
General rule of thumb is to order the phones and nothing else as this (and in your case) can affect your shipping date.
Now I'm not saying this is 100% the reason why, but I'd say its highly likely, and I'm not sure what you can do at this stage.
Edit: That is assuming the lightning cables are part of the same order?
Last year One of the numbers on the Apple order worked with UK Mail. You may need to experiment a bit or search last years thread. Also I remember it not appearing until Thursday. Good luck. I'm queueing this year.

You need to go to the sycreon tracking before the day and ukmail on the day. Hope this helps a little.
You're pretty much the exact same as me except I managed to nab it a few days earlier when it was "2 weeks" lol.
From what I've been told, the contract starts the moment you order the SIM. I don't know for sure though...
