O2 are completely different. They won't send a nano sim no matter how many people you talk to. Trust me, I tried.

I've tried too. I'm disabled and told them how difficult it was for me to get to a store. They didn't give a chuff and said they wouldn't be sending me one. Even though a few nights ago they told me one was 'on it's way'!!
For all those worried about Three, I have found it amazing. Also, think if you want lte. EE are the first option but 3 will have it by end of year.

Went into O2 today north west England and they said they will be getting the nano sims on Thursday
Try ringing O2 customer care tomorrow, they've sent me a nano sim tonight... Even have email confirmation of a nano sim being sent
Im with you on this one. O2 CS sent me one this evening, shows in MyO2 account as processing
End of the year? Yes EE have sold the correct spectrum to 3, but:
- Sale needs to be approved
- EE have a year to then give 3 the spectrum
- Three will need to get permission to use LTE on this spectrum
So I doubt end of the year. But yes, eventually 3 should have LTE on iPhone 5 (1800 MHz is only band that will work on iPhone, the ones at auction next year wont). I presume once 3 get the 1800, they will use it for LTE, but they may not.

Seriously, 3 won't have it by the end of the year. They've only just signed a deal with Samsung to be their network supplier and they have to wait for EE to release the spectrum, which currently they won't do until September 2013. It takes time to install a network, configure it and integration test it. It took Orange about 2 years to upgrade their core network, never mind the radio network.
If you want to know why I know, look at my job title and location.
Strange. i ordered directly from their site but mine still hasn't shipped. Ordered another from the Ebay store just in case. I'm quite clumsy and would probably ruin one installation anyway.
End of 2013 is being quoted on few articles online for 3 to get 4G. Probably around the same time as quoted for O2 and Vodafone. Can see EE having a year to themselves with 4G. Can't see that being good for pricing being competitive. Would accept maybe an extra £2-£8 onto my contract for it but nothing more that that
According to people who preordered iPhone 4s, the shipment doesn't start till wednesday ish, as it only comes from Ireland Warehouse.

Got an idea to put to you guys. I run my own tech blog and I know I will be waiting at home all day for my iPhone 5. i'm thinking that when I get the phone delivered that I do a live unboxing. Does this sound like something some of you guys would watch?
I ordered from their site before the iPhone was even out and they refunded me, must have been something wrong with the films. Took a bit of a risk ordering from them again but it seems to have paid off
Also you get 2 protectors in the pack so plenty of room for mistakes for you
Let me educate on LTE, let in the UK will work on the 800 / 1800 / 2600 frequencies, ee are launching on the 1800, O2 Vodafone will bid for 800 and 2600 and three will buy 1800 from ee.
Iphone 5 will only work on 1800 in the UK, and therefore even if O2 and voda launch 4g anytime soon (which they won't) then it will not work.
The LTE auctions are due next year, probably q1, however spectrum released in this auctions will not be available until late 2013, therefore by the time 4g is available on other networks, the next iphone will be out or due.
Don't know about anyone else, but I'll be too busy unboxing my own!
