Saw earlier that someone was asking about the Quidco cash back, I also have no sign of this after 3 days now? anyone else?
 
Quick question....can you activate the iphone 5 without a sim card? Or do you have to have a sim inserted? Thanks as my new nano sim wont arrive until about Tuesday next week.
 
Is anyone else upgrading on Orange and having the handset cost taken off their bill? My bill is still showing £260 in credit so they've not taken it off yet. I've called them and it's all gone through though.
 
Hey so who has experience if a fresh order online as a new customer at t mobile? Although it still says preorder on their website I'm very skeptical as since ordering on Sunday afternoon and after logging in I get the message saying the order is being 'processed' by our sales team. Very vague and I'm left wondering if it's even close to bring successful and when I'll even get the thing. Any thoughts?

Have your funds been taken out your bank yet?

Pretty sure they will have them, but likely to sell out quickly...I did try the Cribs Causeway shop after the announcement, last Thursday ... But they did not have any and were unable to say when they would.

After re-reading my post I realised I said "are not stocking" I meant they're not stocking it currently, and that they didn't know when stock would come. Not "never stocking this item". Oops, my bad.

I'm currently waiting for the store to open at 09:00 to see if they have stock, or have more information. I'm anticipating it to sell out pretty fast. They have ample stock of the EarPods already.
 
Nano Sim from Orange? Anyone?

Anyone managed to get their hands on one of these yet. I've bought unlocked and have just been tol the sims wont be available for another 7 days or so.
 
Serial Numbers Yet?

Just wondering who has managed to get their serial numbers from the support profile page yet? Don't know if it's an indication of if it was going to arrive on time?

Mine have appeared and I ordered at 8:14am on 14th, received confirmation at 8:18am same day. Just wondered what others are experiencing with their order times/confirmations.

It was paid for on a credit card but not sure if funds have been taken/reserved as not my card (it's a company card).

Not since I last checked, although I noticed the 2pound debit (part of t mob credit check) came out fairly quickly. Usually I'd expect the order to be quicker but I guess this is an exception!

When did you pre-order, I pre-ordered at 1:47 from them on pre-order day and I have had the £2 go out and back in again. I have also been charged for the phone today.
 
That Apple.com preorder thread has grown in size..

They are nearly all US peeps so it gets confusing as they have tracking etc. too whereas we UK peeps got screwed there. :( just wondered if others have similar with order preparing for shipment.

OK I have just completed the process with last years numbers.

Assuming you have a shipment notification, Go to the 'SYNVIEW 360 Tracker' enter the 'Your Delivery Reference Number' from your email into the first box and the order number (Wxxxxxxxxxx) into the second. The system then let me see the tracking details. Good Luck

The Cribbs Causeway branch did not have EarPods in when I was there last week.... So that is a good sign at least.

Interested to hear what they say re cables... On train so not able to call yet.....don't what to be THAT guy.. "HELLO? HELLO! IM ON A TRAIN, YES A TRAIN.... HELLO? ...HELLO! DO YOU HAVE AND LIGHNING USB CABLES IN STOCK? .... HELLO?... HELLO! ....."

Now we just have to wait for the illusive "shipped" notification.

I have a funny feeling us lot in UK won't see movement until Weds aft/Thurs as most likely they are sat in some distribution centre in UK or even Europe.

Hope not but prob true. Would like something to watch the status change. It's sad really as only a weeks wait but just makes week go really slow. Fortunately have plenty to do at work this week! :D
 
Have you been charged for just the phone or the phone and first month of contract? Mine has now been taken out my bank, but only for the phone.

Just the phone. I'm a new customer to T-Mobile so my contract won't be active till i activate the sim. I'm pretty sure they don't charge a month in advance anyway. Can see it being a hassle getting my sim activated on friday with everyone trying at the same time. Might actually pop into a T-Mobile shop tonight and see if they will give me a nano sim (if they have them) and activate my account straight away. Don't mind being charge from today even though i don't have the phone yet, just to avoid the grief on friday.
 
On Orange, and they Debited my card this morning. Should I really be this excited to see my money vanishing? Haha XD

Mine was debited yesterday. New customer on Orange, ordered a white 64GB at around 08:40

Was it the 16, 32 or 64 you ordered? Reason i'm asking is the T-Mobile guy on the phone told me that he didn't think they were gonna make all the deliveries of the 16 from their first batch of stock and sunday afternoon is a long time after pre orders started. I would probably phone them, might push it along or at least give you an answer.
