Anyone ordered a case yet? And any advice on a decent one? May go for Case-Mate barely there. £20 on eBay.

Just received my nano sim in the post from Three after ordering on Friday evening.

Does anybody know if I can get a nano sim adaptor from a Three store if I go in today?

Got mine this morning too. Shame there is no adapter in the pack :(

I've ordered one from ebay so I can do the sim swap before Friday

or go to an O2 store and ask for a Nano SIM pack which includes adaptors, they don't ask if you're a customer, not me anyway.

You're pretty much the exact same as me except I managed to nab it a few days earlier when it was "2 weeks" lol.

From what I've been told, the contract starts the moment you order the SIM. I don't know for sure though...

Not sure how helpful this is but I'll say it anyways!

I ordered the same plan SIM with 3 on Friday evening (£12.90/month) and the SIM arrived today. I have the SIM adapter coming from somewhere else so I can't check if it's activated yet but I just checked my bank details online and nothing has gone through yet from 3 (although, because of the weekend I suppose that could slow things down) so, for now, it looks as though I've not paid as soon as I ordered?

Who really knows though? lol

General rule of thumb is to order the phones and nothing else as this (and in your case) can affect your shipping date.

Now I'm not saying this is 100% the reason why, but I'd say its highly likely, and I'm not sure what you can do at this stage.

Edit: That is assuming the lightning cables are part of the same order?

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm pretty sure that's the case. I can't get into my order and have the cables sent separately so looks like I'm stuck waiting. It may give me a little more time to see what happens with the Giffgaff micro sim farce. You live, you learn and observation shows nothing is more patient than water so upon reflection I think I'm sure I can wait. Cheers

After using the Ultraslim pouch from this line for 2 years, persuading my partner to get one, and having a best friend who has also used one for about a year and a half- I can give you a fairly informed opinion that these cases are very well made, and protect against scratches perfectly. Doesn't protect against large drops though, as it's just a leather pouch. There does appear to be cases in the line that do protect better, but increase bulk and price. I don't know how well this new pouch dock handles the new location of the 3.5mm audio jack though, so that might be a disappointment.

It's a good soft leather, and wears well over time. Very stylish, and fit very snugly keeping minimum bulk in your pocket, and allow you to use your phone naked.

The price of the ultra thin model, including delivery to the UK is around £22 once converted. (www.xe.com)

The downside is that they don't ship until late next month. I have 2 pre-ordered already.

Did I mention that they're stylish? ha XD

Hope this helps.

I've pre-ordered a Grove bamboo case, with custom engraving (of the Aphex Twin logo) - I'm pretty easy to spot.

NanoSIMs from O2 store

O2 refused point blank to supply a nanoSIM online, despite the fact they'll send you a microSIM free if you want that (http://freesim.o2.co.uk/).

O2 store on Old Broad Street gave me a free nanoSIM and pack of adapters just now though, so just a case of O2 having totally cr4p online customer service again.

Cancell the lightning cables and the delivary should move to friday, I orded mine at 8:20 and it was showing 2-3 weeks untill yesterday when I cancelled the lighning cable

The shop says I can't cancel my order at present. Ohhh well. Im nocturnal so 8 am isn't usually the best time for me to make decisions. Thanks for your thoughts. :)

I'm hoping my 3 nano-sim arrives today (Was told on Friday it would be here today) so that I can begin the process of porting over from O2.

Tried to swap my wife's O2 SIM at around 8pm last night and the old SIM still hasn't deactivated.

I've got a feeling O2's service only runs during business hours, does anyone know?

Started mine using simswap yesterday at about 5:30pm, still hasn't deactivated the original...

Orange have now changed my plan, thethering is activated. Hopefully this is a good sign. It said somewhere that the plan would kick in when the phone was shipped and might start before I received it. I think.

If you phone customer services they will send you one out. It is a new option on the system so get them to check if they say they cant.

My Nano sim order is showing on myo2 orders.

Sena Ultraslim cases are great! I’ve had them on all my phones, and after seeing them family have bought them for their iPhones and HTCs too.
