Hey mate! mines also exeter! im gunna try get their for anytime from 6 onwards (based on me waking up) Last year the queue was insane so i wouldnt get there later than 7 just to be sure you would get one! After all the early bird catches the worm

I have to catch the train so earlyist will be 6-7am for me

im hoping exeter is reasonable

the guy in the exeter store said if the weather is bad it will work out fine LOL.

Remember this is devon, things move slowly lol, i dont understand why it would take so long just to get the model, hand over card and walk out again.

I wouldn't listen to anything the live support has to say, they seem to be clueless. HD voice (wideband audio) works over 3G, thats how Three also have it. The link i posted gives a run down about it. Bit more about it on this link on there page, down the bottom left

Rang t mobile and they said what they have said to others - that they won't receive any phones until Friday. She said no pre order customers would receive the phone on Friday. She said she didn't know why three were able to guarantee their phones would arrive Friday.

I don't know whether to believe this, but if I hear nothing by Thursday night I'll just queue up at the apple store and cancel with t mobile if I get one.

Thats different from what T-Mobile told me today. Will be getting it friday on an am delivery by courier UKMail. My order status is at 'waiting to go'. Have they taken the money from your account for the handset? My money was showing in the process of being taken on saturday and was taken from my bank account yesterday.

Has anyone else STILL not even been given a tracking number that works?

Ordered from Orange and was given a number saying Wednesday delivery, phoned and told it was a mistake (what a shock) and would get a new number soon.
No new tracking number.
No order confirmation emails.
Money taken.
Contract started (according to orange automated phone system).

Not anymore. I stopped getting GPRS signals some time ago and I read it on gizmodo or engadget. Cant remember which.

It doesn't matter what you read or where, the fact remains that 3 continue to have an agreement to use Orange GPRS network where they do not have their own 3G masts. In certain areas where 3 has plenty of it's own coverage, they no longer use Orange to piggyback on, but nationally, they still do in my places.

Anyones quidco tracking for the 3 deal?

It's been well over 24 hours since I ordered and I've got a horrible feeling mine isnt tracking. Forgot to get transaction id too £96.88 isn't an insignificant sum of money

I ordered yesterday morning and mine tracked a few hours later at £75. I suppose this is encouraging but I don't hold out much hope of seeing the phone on Friday.

No mine hasn't tracked either, I'm pretty sure the "transaction ID" is just your order number (mine begins with 15) so should be no problem there.

Just popped into my local O2 store, I now have my nano sim in my hand as we speak
Just off the phone to customer service who have now registered my new sim, so I'm all good to go when my phone (hopefully) arrives on Friday.
Also my new case was waiting for me when I got home from work.
This whole process has gone so smoothly I'm now convinced it's all too good to be true and something is bound to go wrong

When I moved from T-Mobile to Three 2 years ago I was advised to wait for my number to port over before registering on My3.

Ah well, too late now, I've already registered, sure a call to 3 will sort any issues out

I tried this a week or so ago (just before the iPhone was announced) and had an awful time with the chat representative. Worst case of broken English I've experienced in a long-time and was told they couldn't provide me with a PAC code due to security reasons. When I reminded them I had logged into my account to open the live chat, I was told the security reasons weren't aimed at me, but the staff - i.e. she had no access to my account information. It was the final nail in the coffin for O2 for me.

My o2 order is staying at 'In progress'. Guess I missed the first batch. I did order on Saturday though. We shall see!

Much better than Orange and T-Mobile, who at the moment, don't even seem to know what an iPhone 5 is.

Just received my order for Lightning-to-Micro-USB adaptors.

First impressions: Much smaller than I thought! this new connector is tiddly.

The adaptor fits nicely onto a Micro USB cable and I'd say it was a nice tight fit, which is what you want, it takes a bit of a tug to remove it. We don't know how it fits into the iPhone yet but I imagine it will be fairly friction-free and pulling from the cable should remove the adaptor from the phone before the cable, I hope.

THey said transaction id was 8 digits though (starting with 1) and 3 wouldn't investigate cashback claims without it. It wasn't clear what this was or where you found it though
