Read this forum for a few years and have had all generation son launch day, until this one :rolleyes:

Dont want to get up at silly O Clock so i wanted to upgrade, i have left o2 due to the 24 month contracts and take out a new T Mobile contract and got my PAC code already. After seeing th posts about t mobile micro sims I thought i would chase my order, they have no idea when i wil lget my phone as they are only getting the phones themselves friday??

Then a user posts he has had a text already?

One big mess up by most networks but only time will tell when i actually get my 5
 
Rang t mobile and they said what they have said to others - that they won't receive any phones until Friday. She said no pre order customers would receive the phone on Friday. She said she didn't know why three were able to guarantee their phones would arrive Friday.

I don't know whether to believe this, but if I hear nothing by Thursday night I'll just queue up at the apple store and cancel with t mobile if I get one.
 
My Three nano sim arrived today as well :D

Just used the Three website now to transfer over my number from O2 and should get an update soon!

Did you get an email? i just filled in the form and pressed submit (or whatever) and got some jibberish about 3 modem insurance or something?:confused:
 
3 sim arrived, installed and slowly activating bit by bit. I've just used to online form to transfer my number, hopefully be all done this time tomorrow.

3G speed in Newcastle city centre isn't what I expected, not sure if its down to the activation or if it is usually this slow but I'll see how it goes.
 
Was just about to ring O2 for my PAC number but the contract isn't in my name. Can i still get it or does the named person have to ring?
 
If anyone has a spare nanoSIM from O2 I'd happily pay them a few quid to send one out to me in the post.

Strange, I wen't to the t-mobile shop to confirm my order, they said it will arrive between 9am to 5pm on friday.

You were lied to.

Read the T&C on the pre-order section for Orange and T-Mobile. They state they will do their best to get them to us on Friday. That would have read 'sometime after Friday' if they weren't expecting release date deliveries for some orders. :)

If you can login to the O2 site, you can ask via the chat option for a PAC code. Much easier and you dont need to be the bill payer.

You will need to know the password on the account tho as they ask you for 2 letters or numbers from the pword
 
Just pre-ordered my iPhone 5 today went to my local 3 store and sat down with him 5 mins later thats it done gave me paper work and said he would phone me thursday to organise a time for collection.

When I asked for my PAC code on live chat he refused to give it to me, continually repeating a number I had to call, instead. But maybe I just had a bad adviser, who knows.

Just phoned them up. She had to speak to her manager. Then she said she would get the agent who did my order to phone me back. I asked was there a problem and she said the agent would discuss. WTF?!?!

Had the same problem. there is the customer service team and the retention team chat. I had to just phone them up but they DO need to talk to the account holder.
 
what time do people think is the latest you can turn up at an apple store to get a phone

(mine is exeter so quieter/rural)

was aiming 6-7am

some guy said 1AM, think not lol

It seems quite a few iPhone 4/S were ordered instead of iPhone 5s. I hope you wasn't one of them.
