Has anyone actually gotten through to O2 over the last couple of days??!

Im trying to cancel an old rolling contract as going with Three for the iphone 5.

Ive tried to call 4 times and now a little bored of working thier way through the entire now 45 album :(

Call 1 - 34 minutes, gave up
Call 2- 46 minutes, gave up
Call 3 - 22 minutes, gave up
Call 4 - 49 minutes :( ......

Annoying..
 
Just looked on Three's website. Delivery dates have finally moved from Friday the 21st to Tuesday the 2nd.

I ordered mine yesterday, really hoping I get it on Friday!

I ordered mine on Monday morning with a 1st October estimate. Do you mean the estimates moved back to Friday Oct 21st after that? I'm hoping that means my order gets bumped up to Friday as well.

I'm also hoping they use DPD for delivery as it means I can pop hope in the one hour time slot they always give you.
 
A lot of us have been through multiple Apple product launches. This is just the way they do things.

So have I but never ordered online, I was one of the bad people who sat outside the store's ;)... Woooo do they get shipped from China or UK as its got a LONG way to come in like 2 days :(

I had the exact same problem, they just ignore you so you'll stay with them.

Did anyone pre-order in-store from Three? I was in 9am on the 14th but I'm a little anxious now as I've not heard anything since. Might pop in today to see if they know anymore. They did say they'll contact me before the 21st but I work in retail and I realise how much these guys will probably be left in the dark, unfortunate as they were amazingly nice with me.

On a side note, I've been with 3 since the iPhone 4 launched with them and I've been nothing but pleased. Unlimited data really has been unlimited (trust me I've chewed through several months of relying on the personal hotspot for my main net data and they never have whined at me once) and my signal has been strong and quick, if anyone was on the fence, I would heartily recommend (after getting the siganl checked out in your area, obviously)

Now can anyone help me here - I've just popped my 3 sim in and i still dont have personal hotspot :( Never have (I was on Tesco before)

Probably you need to head settings/general/cellular(network on ios5)/Personal Hotspot ... and switch it on. It should appear on a main settings board afterwards.

Its a joke, so peed off with o2 over the last couple of months, they use to be great but now a complete crock of ..... ;)

Someone else preordered on behalf of me since I'm on holiday. What exactly were you hoping to hear? Don't you just go in Friday to collect it?
 
Do it via the text message method in the booklet - seems to be quicker that way - thought mine still took around 5/6 hours. But most people seem to get theirs switched in a matter of minutes after sending the text.

"Estimated delivery date: Tuesday, 2nd October.
Your contract will not start until we dispatch your device. "

Ordered Friday and CS said at the time they will deliver for Friday 21st, funny thing is though ive had no texts or anything to confirm.. though they have taken the £79 out of my account. Slightly worrying
 
I rang t-mobile yesterday, and they said that they were pretty sure that anyone who ordered on launch day should receive their phone on friday. whether it's true, i don't know - but it sounds different to the line that most people appear to have been getting (ie. them still pushing the 30 days thing).

exactly the same as me. I wonder if its only orders made now that come on the 2nd oct and the others will arrive on the date we were given...

Had the same problem last night, i had more luck with this. Only had to wait about 15 mins.

I have phoned Three up a few times, They can't give us any other information, the only thing they can say is that the courier wont be contacting us until Friday morning..... (the sales team last friday quoted Thursday)

I have the day booked of worked... lets hope we get some details tomorrow

I've had two confirmations one email and one text, since I'm upgrading. One told me how much is due since its an upgrade, which is around 120 pounds as it includes first month of the bill and handset. The other text states that on Friday I will get a text with a delivery slot time.

Just moved to 3 after years on VF. Much much better and unlimited data is awesome. Get a great signal everywhere I need it.

Ordered mine yesterday too from Three when it still said estimated delivery of Friday. Hope we do get them Friday! I was surprised it was still saying Friday so really hope its true!
