Ha. Just cancelled it and it now says between 3-9 October. Was wondering why there was no update on it!

Yepp it's an option in the settings menu. Just be careful as not all websites work on Three's tethering unless you unblock it. Some ports will just not work, and this could mean you might not be able to access some servers and games that require that port to be accessible. They can also block you at anytime so be careful.
People on the O2 forms have had their orders despatched. Doesn't look good for Friday.
I ordered it on Saturday, about 24 hours after the pre-order announcement, so I knew it wasn't going to come this week, or next week, it was just really weird that it hadn't updated with a specific timeframe!
As far as carriers dispatching the iPhones, not many have heard from the carriers themselves
it will be something to do with the adaptor holding the delivery up mate

It's usually 6pm Uk time.....but i wouldn't even bother till about 9 or 10pm.....it's a freaking nightmare to get it at 6pm.....will take hours to download!

In other news, no one is going to be at home for delivery of my phone on Friday :'( Post-it note on the front door begging the driver to leave it with a neighbour it is then. Unless Orange will let us choose time slots...

I ordered mine on Saturday also.
It seems only Fridays have started to ship, though O2 have said they'll get all pre-orders out for Friday. I wouldn't worry until tomorrow night.
Mine is showing the same as yours.
I was told by their CS (so believe that if you want) they would give you a 4 hour slot it would be delivered in, which doesn't really help that much.
I've activated and ported my number on three without even breaking the nano simcard from the plastic holder! can do it all over the phone with them.
Ok, so I know most of you seemed to have pre-ordered online and whatnot but I'm posting this so hopefully it'll help out the guys in a similar situation to me.
I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 at 9am(ish) on the 14th in-store at my local Three store.
Just been in today to check on the status and whatnot because I hadn't heard anything and needed to know if I should get to town before work on Friday to pick it up.
Told I'll definitely have mine ready for Friday, looks like people who have been in pre-ordering up until Sunday/Monday should be all set too from what they were saying.
Opening early doors at 8.00am on the day. Told Apple (apparently) have put on an embargo so nothing can possibly go through the till before 8.01am. This seems a little odd to me as I noticed the Carphone Warehouse down the road was opening at 7am. Then again, 8am is when the Apple Stores open isn't it?
Guys aren't expecting much of a queue as obviously the stock is being allocated in the order with pre-orders. Though they know people will queue anyway and there'll be people like me trying to pick up before work at 9am.
They'll be ringing everyone tomorrow afternoon to confirm that their iPhone will be ready.
Really excited now, always had a niggling doubt i'd pick one up as it's my first time getting a new phone at launch!

My area falls under the "tier 1" thats supposed to get it on the 21st. Pretty disappointing that it seems to be delayed.
