Still nothing more than an order confirmation email for new three customers?

I just called, Three said you will only get an email confirming dispatch the day before and a text message about a delivery window (30 min - 1 hour) on the date of delivery.

Looks like whatever the estimate your email has will be your delivery date.

I cancelled my Apple order and ordered over the phone via CPW last night as they guaranteed Friday delivery.

Checking my order number they have now moved my order to:
Your order is being processed, as opposed to we are out of stock and expect it Wednesday ;-)

Hope my luck holds for Yodel :-/

Also if you search for yodel consignment tracking you can use your CPW transaction reference to track the delivery

How did you check your order number and status of your order with CPW? Did you call up?
 
I'd ring them again. I won't go through my saga but if you look back through my posts you will see how much they messed up my order (via phone)!
Hopefully the last guy I spoke too has sorted it, but not too hopeful. No confidence it will arrive Friday but I'm waiting till then to chase it further.
Orange seem to have really messed up.

Hi all,

Out of contract, I upgraded to iPhone5 on the orange website early morning on 14th. Website confirmed my order and change of talk plan but no email or text confirmation has been received. I've called orange customer services multiple times since friday morning to get a confirmation. Either they say they can't help and send me on a wild goose chase around different departments, all of whom refer me back to upgrades, or they say there is no record of your order but your next available upgrade date has changed to 24 months time! Currently, one operator has promised to look into it and get back to me. He's taken two days so far.... Does anyone know what's going on in that place? Have they made a monumental b's up? I'm left with a bank account - £209.99 (the money left my account on Monday), no receipt, no order confirmation and no one at orange who knows the score?
 
I'm hoping to finally get a prompt delivery. None of my launch day Apple deliveries have been smooth. My Mac Mini was delivered at 9:30pm, The van that was carrying my 4S had an accident and my new iPad was delivered a day later :D

Wow, that is some serious bad luck, haha.

Ordered from T Mobile this morning and not even had an order acknowledgement, anyone know how long it takes?

(Im not expecting it Friday)
 
How many 5s will be returned within the 14 days after the 21st?

I'll be returning one as Apple ballsed things up! I used the Apple Store app on my 4S and had a few errors before succeeding at 8:07am. I then received two emails with different order numbers at 8:07am, clearly one of the errors was successful! Didn't cancel any of them for fear of a disaster.

Sorry to all of those who can't get one on release date because of this :p
 
Ok, so I know most of you seemed to have pre-ordered online and whatnot but I'm posting this so hopefully it'll help out the guys in a similar situation to me.

I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 at 9am(ish) on the 14th in-store at my local Three store.
Just been in today to check on the status and whatnot because I hadn't heard anything and needed to know if I should get to town before work on Friday to pick it up.

Told I'll definitely have mine ready for Friday, looks like people who have been in pre-ordering up until Sunday/Monday should be all set too from what they were saying.
Opening early doors at 8.00am on the day. Told Apple (apparently) have put on an embargo so nothing can possibly go through the till before 8.01am. This seems a little odd to me as I noticed the Carphone Warehouse down the road was opening at 7am. Then again, 8am is when the Apple Stores open isn't it?
Guys aren't expecting much of a queue as obviously the stock is being allocated in the order with pre-orders. Though they know people will queue anyway and there'll be people like me trying to pick up before work at 9am.
They'll be ringing everyone tomorrow afternoon to confirm that their iPhone will be ready.

Really excited now, always had a niggling doubt i'd pick one up as it's my first time getting a new phone at launch!

That's reassuring. I ordered mine in store on Saturday morning and was 15th on the pre-order list.
I am also waiting for the call tomorrow to let me know it's there.
 
Well 3 aren't releasing any nano SIMs any my local store never received any nano SIMs either.

People are selling iPhone 5's on eBay and getting £620+ for them... just saying ;)
 
I ordered it at 8am yesterday and it arrived today....however they said it could take 3 days.

Thanks! I'll stay optimistic that it'll arrive tomorrow then. I'm moving back to Uni on Saturday, so can't afford to have late deliveries for either my new sim or the iPhone 5.
 
I had to phone and chase mine up. Definately give them a call to make sure they have processed it.

Stupidly i didnt take the ref number down as USUALLY emails are instant when i buy something, i know they have tested my card as they have ring-fenced £2 which they said they would do

I had the same issue, pre-ordered at 8:30am, didn't get any confirmation (although strangely my bank approved it), called them up and the women on the other end saw my order reference number on their system and left it at that, told me their system was down and I should get confirmation by Monday. Monday I still hadn't heard anything so gave them another call, this time the guy was good enough not to just look for the code... turns out the system was generating the orders and in some cases taking money but not actually attaching any information to the order for them to process, so in my case I had a reference for an empty order. I had to reorder yesterday and so am unlikely to get the phone for ages.
 
Did anyone order in store on Vodafone?

if so did the provide you with a tracking number?

I ordered on Friday 14/9 and still haven't got one even thought I've been reassured that my order has been placed!
 
Now I'm fortunate enough to have my iPhones serial number, so since I know one of the first batch is mine I'm not really bothered but I would take that news with a grain of salt

how did you get ur serial number if ur order is still at "processing items"?
 
Just had a text from Three telling me how to check and pay my bills online. I've been a customer for years - wonder if this has any thing to do with them processing my upgrade. Pre-ordered on day one at about lunch time.

I walked into a 3 Store on friday and asked for a Sim Swap and they did it free of charge and gave 2 sim adapters aswell

1x nano to full sim and 1x nano to micro-sim

If you are as obsessive as me (!) you can get a free App called Deliveries for iPad or iPhone that you can click to update umpteen times a day.

My Lightning USB cable now says 'Tendered for Delivery' & tracking information is on the Apple Store.

iPhone still says 'Preparing for Shipment Ship date unknown Delivered by 21 September.

I expect that to change tomorrow & I'll then be able to track it. Where I live the delivery is by UPS & they've never failed to deliver on time.

Thank you for recommending the Deliveries app, it's great! Did you know, once we get tracking info, it'll show up on the map on the iPad version?! :eek::D
