No, no adapter and no time to get anywhere near phone shops this week due to work. Really needed to get my number transferred before the weekend, Vodafone CS estimated 48 hours to complete the process!
Apparently the UPS tracking numbers should start 1Z, but I don't have anything starting like that... Does anyone know where we can find the UPS tracking number for our phones?
What time tomorrow ? and is that because they don't have them yet, or they do and it simply isn't updated yet ?
I think it's 1Z but I'm not sure. You'll need to call UPS or wait for Apple to update us. UPS will have the iPhones from Syncreon tomorrow, at which point we will have tracking numbers.

It was changed last Friday PM, as soon as Apple realised their "mistake".
Has anyone on Three had any other information back yet? I'm beginning to get impatient, what with O2 orders being dispatched etc...
Just for information, Syncreon are NOT a delivery company, as far as I know. Never seen a delivery truck with their name on. (This is from a Google of Syncreon & Apple deliveries.)
They are co-ordinators between Apple factories in China & UK delivery companies like UPS.
I think we should know more later. There will hopefully be an update & we'll know our delivery company & then be able to track our order.
When I ordered my MacBook Air earlier this year, my laptop was shipped on a wednesday but didn't actually get delivered till the following wednesday.
Pretty sure it was around late afternoon on the tuesday that a UPS tracking number appeared on Apple's tracking page.
On a side note, why are so many people sooo desperate to get this tracking thing working? You'll get it sometime Friday, and live tracking won't tell you any different than that.
I'm may restore from backup as I recently bought a new MacBook and started fresh with that and it was a lot of hassle making sure I transfered everything I need! On the other hand I have my 3GS jailbroken so I don't want the new one to lag or anything.
Just following on from my previous posts I phoned apple to get the full tracking number for UPS which will update on apples tracking bridge point URL, they gave me my 16 digit 1z number but until it gets updated during the night or tomorrow that tracking number shows nothing just like the delivery reference number that we already have. So will wait till tomorrow to see where it is and then wait in all day for me to be last to get the delivery as per usual with UPS at my address. Was so hoping it would be TNT but beggars can't be choosers!

The more everyones getting tracking info and news about their iPhone..the more I'm getting worried that something will be wrong with mine :s Damn you Orange! I wouldn't minded (so much), not getting it friday, if I had received any order details at all. But its almost as if my phone doesn't exist.
I did phone up and they said the orders on the system and ready to be delivered but I've heard too many horror stories so far of people being told this only to be told that actually something is wrong.
Theres something very disconcerting about not getting a confirmation email. It makes me nervous.

Also..these tracking numbers that have been sent to Orange customers that just say 'The number you entered is not a valid Orange Shop order number. Please try again.' Seem to only be for people who upgrade..people who have just joined up and signed a brand new contract seem to have received numbers that work...I could be wrong.
yeah, mine works and I'm a new customer. Doesn't really help, it's been stuck at "Order Being Readied For Dispatch" since I ordered it at 08:34 last Friday. They've taken the money from my account though.
When did you order? plus is it Apple? As mine is. what was your estimated delivery date if it was from Apple? If you don't mind me asking.

Because I don't want to have to wait in all day Friday for it to turn up at 7pm!
Quite often now when you track your order online it will give you some indication of the time, normally a 2hr window or at least say am/pm.
I don't know if UPS do this, if they don't then I guess I'll be waiting in until it arrives.
