Ok...

Those of you who just have "Syncreon" in their tracking info from Apple, just try this:

  • Go to the UPS Website.
  • On the top, click Tracking, then select Track Shipments.
  • Select Track by Reference
  • Select Mail innovations
  • Put in your tracking number and the post code

It should then recognise the package but no tracking info at the moment, which then means your Syncreon "delivery" is actually UPS. :)

Sort of....

No nano sim in the post for me :(

Are you upgrading?

Not upgrading to the iPhone 5 throught them.... If you do that the nano sim would come with the iPhone delivery.

But having said that, I am an existing customer with Orange and have been for over 8 years.... I just requested a new SIM to use in the phone I ordered direct from Apple.

does anybody know how reliant UPS mail Innovations is ?

----------

im guessing this is kinda how it works in the uk too ?

As far as I'm aware, Mail Innovations is a US only thing. Note that the tracking page will display the same if you change your number or use an entirely different postcode. I think it's just a poorly coded site rather than anything else.

I thought that was the case too using that method, but if you put in any old made up reference and made up postcode it comes up with 1 package found... so it's not really finding anything unfortunately.

Yup, I just tried with a made up number and same results.

doesn't seem to work for me

Works for me :)

To all worrying about Syncreon, it's a logistics company, not a delivery service, the couriers will be collecting items from Syncreon.

Pretty much, but in place of "processing facility" think Syncreon, and in place of USPS think UPS/DPD/etc.

You do realise that you can put any number in and it will come up with a package. It doesn't mean anything.

Three

Three are still telling people on Twitter that those with Fri 21st delivery dates should get their phones tomorrow.

Says we will receive conformation this evening of delivery day. My experience with DPD is very positive. My iPad 2 came from Tesco via DPD and the one hour slot they give in the morning was accurate. Saves you standing at the window all day.

I wish they wouldn't release these phones on a Friday though, will have to wait until Monday for my number porting which will mean, taking two phones to work on Monday

Ironically just got a call from CPW, let her know that I already ordered from Orange and expecting the phone tomorrow. She said I had paid £29. I pointed out no payment was ever taken, to which she was relieved. Hoping I don't regret this decision.

Dispatched

My CPW order has just dispatched

My JD reference number doesnt track via the Yodel website, it has to be done via the CPW wheres my order tracking!!

Its currently in transfer at Sandwell Service Centre!!

:)

tmobile biggest waste of time

I am honestly fuming right now. I just spoke to Tmobile, I've been a customer for over 9-10 years. They are single handedly the most annoying company in the world. Always making stupid errors and really (honestly) do not care about their customers.

After reading about their complete inability to keep customers updated on the biggest phone in history. I called, good thing too. I ordered a black 32gb iphone 5 a couple of minutes past 8 last Friday (as soon as pre-orders went for sale). I heard nothing barring a couple of texts. It appears that they have ordered a white 32gb iphone 5. I didn't order white and the lady confirmed my notes say I ordered a black 32gb iphone 5.

They have stated the order has been picked and so they can't do anything apart from cancel the order, and resend me a black 32gb iphone 5 (which I will have to wait for)

As a customer for many years this has been the single handed stupidest thing they have ever done. As a person who is relatively patient I would implore people to avoid tmobile, although they do offer good tariffs. Their customer service is epically lacking. Also call and enquire on your order if you have ordered, as there is a real possibility they have ballsed it up.

One word- livid

Not sure about this. If I change the number or the postcode to something random (like the postcode of the nearest hospital) it displays the exact same thing. Same if I alter a couple of digits of the tracking number!

:D:D yes, 'works' for totally random values.

That's interesting. Wonder why I have not received this information... The phone support keep saying it is because I placed the upgrade online. It is all the same company!

I had all the problems you had, as i'm an Orange up grader too. In the end I just rang them up, asked to speak to a manager, threatened to cancel my order and existing contract and move to another network. Within 5 mins i received the text confirmation and got told to expect a delivery text soon (which i haven't received as of yet).

If you try this, and get an operator who's had a really bad day that decides to cancel your order as requested, please don't blame me:D

Finally got onto Syncreon website. All it says is that it's in HINCKLEY GB. No tracking information atm.

My O2 order is being sent by UKMail having been dispatched yesterday but I have been able to get any tracking details in their website despite using my consignment number. Might give them a call later to see if I can expect it today or not.

Exactly the same here... Hopefully it will appear by this evening!
